Budgie with Burrowing Mites on Face Gets Adopted 

I adopted an unwanted albino budgie. She lived in poor living conditions. I am so glad that I found her and decided to take her with me. Right after I brought her, I decided to get medicine for treating scaly face mites as I noticed them on her eyes, beak, and legs. With a healthy diet, a clean environment, dietary supplements such as vitamin drops, calci lux (calcium in powder), and cuttlefish bone.. 20 days later, mites are almost gone! There's only a little bit on her beak. I have to be patient until I meet her with the flock.
She's a two-year-old female albino budgie. I decided to name her Albina.
For treatment I used IVERMECTIN, and my vet suggested it. A healthy diet and dietary supplements such as vitamin drops, calcium in powder, or cuttlefish bone are also necessary for bird to recover.
