Budikote Dam :
Budikote or the "Fort of Ash" is a small village situated in Bangarpet Taluk of Kolar District in Karnataka state of India. It is about 24 km from Kolar Gold Fields, the nearest city. This Dam was built by Mysore government between 1935-1945 under Sir mirza Ism
Good place to visit, the lake near the dam has water though out the year. The place is a little desolate and the road to the place is decent.

Kaigal waterfall :
Then after the lunch we headed towards the a water falls which is in the board of Karnataka state and Andhra pradesh Which is chittooru district.
This beautiful waterfall is known as kaigal waterfall. Which is 125km from Banglore and 57km from kolar.
Waterfall is natural, perennial and water comes from a big rock at the height of 40 feet irrespective of the season. But it's force and beauty increase during the annual Monsoon season. There are several ponds below the falls.
It's situated in between the forest which gives an added advantage with natural unspoilt surroundings with plenty of exotic birds, shrubs, trees and wildlife.
It got a shiva linga right below the waterfall. Which adds a cultural touch and Prayers are been offered evry day.
It's happy place for the kids to enjoy and have a good feel abt water.
