Budweiser 

The real Czech Budweiser is sold as Czechvar Original Czech Lager here in the U.S. It's $7.99 for 6 pack of 331 ml (11.2 oz) bottles at a higher end chain liquor store in my area (Binny's Beverage Depot.) What is hilarious is the same store sells a 6 pack of American Budweiser 12 oz bottle for $7.99. Though for the budget beer consumer the 12 packs, 24 packs, etc. of American Budweiser are much cheaper per bottle. There is just no denying our American Macro Beers are inferior in taste and quality compared to the better European beers. I guess we Americans knew that for decades. Like others have mentioned the craft beer craze really took off here. Your rants are great! Keep them coming!

By all means, please continue to throw Budweiser under the bus and encourage the driver to slam it in reverse for good measure. The macro brews in the US are just so awful, fortunately the local and regional brews are providing a much needed alternative. Cheers mate and thanks for the reviews as a new subscriber from the US.

It was about the beer once, before prohibition in the USA in the 1920s. The use of rice was initially because American barley has too much protein to make german style light bodied lagers, of course that was in the 1800s. Because AB continued brewing low alc malt beverages during prohibition, and also bottled soft drinks, every other brewer went out of business. So after prohibition ended in 1933 AB basically had a monopoly on brewing. All the markets were wide open, refrigerated trains were a thing, so they just took over the entire US market overnight. It wasn't because Budweiser was good, it's because it was everywhere.

I used to go to air shows in the 80s and 90s and the American Airbases used to sell U.S. beers out of ice filled half barrels, they actually flew it over from America. Even then it was just something cold to drink. The Coke™ had more taste. Six (Seven maybe?) words to strike fear into lager drinkers "brewed under licence in the UK".

In April Bury are bringing 500 fans over to the island for a weekend of pubs n footy for the away fixture. Proper working class footy. American here, this beer is shit and I always see people buying it because they make them in 30 packs for around $22. I definitely go for anything else. Also, you’re right about a lot of people being Liverpool fans here. I also see an insane amount of Man Utd fans.

I don't know what settings you have tweeked but it looks worst. It might be the aperture of the lens not being able to handle a darker room. Vloggers generally use a Go Pro but there can be issues with freezing with newer models, especially when using cheap or dodgy micro sd cards. Yeah alot of those Gulf states exploit labourers from India & servants / nannies from the far east. As far as Budweiser its amazing how big its market is for such a crappy beer, despite the rise in popularity of craft beer / IPA's.

Only takes a few sips for me, of an AB beverage, to ruin my night ,and feel like shit. So will not argue your score of "0". Its great to see, over the last few years, that craft beer, has taken over the supermarkets, and they dont got much room for the macro.

budweiser is not bad as american "domestic" lagers, but it's not impressive by any means. lager styles in general have been gaining a lot of steam in the american "craft" brewing sector, and there are a lot of good examples that hold up in international competition.

A friend of mine in the air force was in Qatar for a week or so. He told me he personally saw at least a dozen people fall to their deaths. And seriously Budweiser, or worse Bud light is disgusting. People who drink it don't like any flavor. They literally drink it for the alcohol, and flavor of anything but watered down piss is a distraction to them. The US is filled with craft breweries now. I've seen stereotypical dumpy people come in to a brewery bar and ask for bud light and be pissed that all they got is a bottle of something half decent like Molson. The guy wouldn't try the craft stuff. I know a guy who only drinks Busch or Bud. He bitches and moans if I make him drink something good with flavor. You give him a mixed drink and he acts like you made him drink from a toilet.
