They're BACK! Alive and kicking as ever! And apparently Weis has recovered from the assassination attempt after all. Uploaded to tie in with the fifth anniversary of "NOT WITHOUT MY SWAMP", THIS is the video that reveals where the Frogs went after the events of the main series of commercials. (Think of it like a spin-off of sorts, even though the Frogs came first.)
Despite being kicked out of the Swamp by the ever-so-arrogant Louie the Lizard and the obnoxious Ferret, and the subsequent shifting of the main spotlight to both Louie and Frankie instead, the Budweiser Frogs remain as loyal to their cause as ever... even if some do find them annoying some of the time, particularly if they happen to be in somebody's garden. This is just the beginning of their new lifestyle as flashy tap-dancing and Fred Astaire-mimicking acts "on the road", with the ultimate goal of reaching Broadway, hoping one day to claim back their crown, and their homeland, from Louie, through attaining even more fame. (However, to us, this commercial was probably the Frogs' last hurrah on our screens, as after this commercial stopped running they seemed to fall out of what remained of their place in the spotlight entirely, with Louie and Frankie now the predominant, and briefly sole, focus, before "Whassup?" waltzed in and began to eclipse them as well. Hey, at least the Frogs can dream to finally defeat Louie and regain their rightful place sometime in a possible revival series.)
Enjoy!
