Thanks for posting! Like you mentioned, the last 2 weeks of July are our winter holidays from school, so it's a less than ideal moment to visit museums, parks and other attractions. Kids everywhere and long lines to get in. Don't worry, things will go back to normal soon!

Welcome to Buenos Aires. I lived in Buenos Aires Argentina for 10 years. Enjoy the good, the bad, and the ugly. For me the the advantages outweigh the disadvantages by far. When I am in Buenos Aires am very comfortable and feeling very free in Buenos Aires and Argentina 🇦🇷.

No day in BA is complete for me without cocktails and dinner in Backroom in Borges. Or maybe a steak in La Carnicería in Thames. Or maybe dinner in La Mar, and a walk in the Chacarita cemetery. Glad you are having fun. I was there for 2 months last year.

Amazing video, loved it as always. Now a few tips (as I seem to always give in your videos, tell me if it gets annoying because I can't help it😅): -Those "rat things" are called coypu, and you actually DID show them! At 4:11 those are baby coypu! -The "deer rabbit things" are Patagonian maras, native to the Patagonian steppe. They are only found in Argentina. -Buenos Aires is deffinitely at its most beautiful on Spring. All the trees get full of bright green leaves and in many tree-lined streets you get these sort of "green tunnels" because all the greenery from the trees over the streets. Also many trees and other plant species bloom so you see a lot of pink, yellow, red and purple, and some sweet smell. You're going to love it. And here are some activities to do on any free afternoon you have: -If you love green spaces you can visit the Bosques de Palermo, which are that huge green park right behind places like the Eco Parque and Botanical Garden. There you can visit artificial lakes, the planetarium, the Japanese and Rose Gardens, and a lot of other outdoor activities. -Another great green space is the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve in Puerto Madero, right next to downtown. It's a big wild area with trails that take you right to the Rio de la Plata. Many people go there to walk, run, bike, or just to sit at the shore and admire the river and the passing ships. -If you want to walk along the river then you can head to Costanera Norte, the city's waterfront, where many people go to fish or just to walk next to the river. It's next to BA's domestic airport, so you'll see lots of planes landing and taking off, and at the northern tip you can find the Parque de la Memoria, dedicated to the victims of our last dictatorship. It's a place that has been visited by many world leaders, like Obama and Merkel. -I don't know if you've visited Tigre yet, but if you haven't it is a MUST to see another side of Buenos Aires. You get there by train through the Mitre Line in Retiro. It is an area right outside BA's metropolitan area, in the Parana River delta. It's a beautiful area full of canals, islands where people live in and boats that you can ride to explore the area. Some call it Venice in South America. - And finally, for a tiny cultural experience, if you're ever in the Plaza the Mayo area you can visit Jose de San Martin's tomb in the Metropolitan Cathedral. He's our greates founding father. Many foreigners know that Simon Bolivar was a great liberator of South America from the Spanish, but San Martin was equally as important. He liberated Argentina and then gathered an army, crossed the Andes mountains and liberated Chile and Peru. Then he met with Bolivar in Guayaquil, Ecuador. His tomb is guarded by ceremonial soldiers who perform a changing of the guard ceremony every two hours, starting at 7 am. Sorry for the wall of text but I think these are things that you should do if want to experience different sides of what the city has to offer. By the way, I'm with Michael on the egg yolks 😛

Hey guys! Fact: the spring time here is beautiful and sunny, I guess you'll enjoy it a lot! You can visit el Parque de la Costa y el Tigre with that weather. And the summer time is so hot here in the City that maybe you'd like to go some days at de Atlantic Coast (Mar del Plata, Pinamar, Villa Gesell, etc), at the south of Buenos Aires Province. Cheers!

The EcoParque is the former Zoo of Buenos Aires, built more than a hundred year ago. It's special because the buildings that kept the animals were built in the style of the regions the animals arrived. You may find India buildings, arabic ones, all with statues of the animals they once kept. Most exotic animals have been returned to their original places or to sanctuaries. There are still local animals lke the mara (the patagonic hare), ñandú (the american ostrich) and some wild cats. The animal you couldn't find is called nutria. You called La MALBA, but is EL MALBA, because MALBA is short for Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires. Museum in Spanish is masculine. Very near the MALBA there are two other art museums. One is the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, on the same Avenue, just in front of the Floralis Generica and the classic Building of the School of Law of the Buenos Aires University. The entrance is on the other side, on Libertador Avenue. On this same avenue, but nearer to Malba is the Museo de Arte Decorativo, which is art on objects (tapestries, vases, furniture). Both these museums are mainly argentine and european art.

Tip, Buenos Aires has a multitude of climates. Spring and Summer can get really hot. 40 degrees or more. My advice, if you don't have an air conditioner, and if you do, get yourself a fan. Also, a tip as a computer scientist that I am, get a stabilizer, a kind of "slipper" that protects computers from voltage shocks.
