I grew up on Thompson Avenue, played in the river close by. My nick name was "Crab Man". My best friends were Douggie and Peter. Sadly I know nothing about them. I attended the Buff Bay Primary school, when teachers carried a belt strap and the principal carried a cane for discipline.
My mom was born in St. Mary. A little town named Carron Hall. She grew up in Buff Bay. She attended Buff Bay high school 🏫. Or Elementary school. My great grandfather. My mom's grandfather was from Portland. He owned some cattle farms 🚜. My grandmother 👵was born in the town of Hampstead, St. Mary. My dad was born in Christiana, Manchester. Nice parishes. (Manchester, St. Mary and Portland) .👍😊
@@haloking1988 Good evening. Know. I don't know the Henderson. I never lived in Portland. I left home in 1973. I am living in Canada 🇨🇦 😎. Have a wonderful and blessed night 🌙 ✨️ 🙏
@@JamaicanInsider I remember playing in the river close by, so clean and filled with janga, crayfish and all kinds of fish you now find in pet shops. I played on the giant concrete blocks, placed there to prevent river flooding. They were arranged edge point to edge point. Some moved over time and we had to jump far to cross some of them.
10:13 Somewhere around here on the right was a public restroom. I remember going home in the evening. I had a bad case of diarrhea. I tried to run to the toilet but did not make it in time. I was about 7 or 8 years old. Them I had to take the walk of shame, to my home.
