Food is an intrical part of our lives, it is a comfort to us. Whatever economic background we come from most of our events are encumbered with food, the more the better. There are certain food items that represent holidays, family events and cultural milestones in our lives. For the most part we love food. Recently we have learned that we are not eating healthy and there are some changes in the way we eat that can increase the quality of our life as well as the longevity.
We all have been told not to eat fried food and we still do. So what I have been doing is, I still eat fried foods, but I am using better oils when I do decide to eat some good old fried buffalo fish. Avocado oil is best to me. Buffalo fish is a bony fish, but it is such a delicious fish that I can't resist. My Great grandma use to fry it and pick the bones out and give it to us with a piece of bread. She would say "if you swallow a bone eat some bread and it will get it." I liked mine with some mustard and a little hot sauce and of course a pickle on the side. I still eat it this way and i am over 50 and counting.💪😋
