Shame Kair Elam has fallen to CB4 on the depth chart... after being drafted in the 1st round just last year. The Bills' biggest issue has been their inability to hit on early draft picks after 2018.

As a Bears fan, depth looks a lot better, will be interesting to see how we look with a few big players coming in fully (Edmunds, Ngokwe (sp) etc) but offensive line looks problematic again. We will be better than last season but play offs may be a stretch, promising progression though and soke rookies starting to look good as well as a potentially gret partnership between Moore and Fields. Bear Down.

Well I was wrong about Fields and Bear nation was correct. He was awesome. He was outstanding on the two completions and WR running afterwards. And the way he toyed with Bill defenders hitting them in the chest on incompletions was next level. He nearly scored a TD, wow. Future NFL hall of famer possible greatest ever! Go Bears

The Bears offense is definitely improving Hopefully with all these weapons, Justin Fields can get better. He looks good because he is staying in the pocket so I really have high hopes. I think they’re gonna probably win around 7 to 9 games and that would be really a big upgrade. Granted, I know most teams want you to win a Super Bowl every year the likelihood of making that jump would be extremely rare, but I do think they can be competitive and that’s what you need to keep your job in this league. The thing that worried me the most was the line. They need to do whatever it takes to get Chris Jones. Also, Stevenson looks more like a safety than a corner. The offense took a while to get going, but the 3rd drive looked good. If Justin Fields stays in the game they probably score on that 3rd drive. They had a couple drops early that will get cleaned up. Hopefully, they get away from the hand the ball off on 1st down all the time. I just chalk that up to preseason playcalling. Cole Kemet's "drop" was not a gimmie. Low and away from the defense, but still, I don't get it with that guy. He's never open and he doesn't make the elite TE catches. He looks the part, but I think he's a 2nd TE. NFL defenses are a different ball game. Why isn’t Mooney playing the back shoulder there? Clearly there wasn’t enough room for Fields to throw to him in the corner of the end zone, should’ve recognize the advantage of a back shoulder positioning.

Backup Line looks bad, and the whole team looks like they should’ve played more in the pre season but most of them have missed time in the last 3 weeks from injuries. Pick your battles and I guess they picked injury defence over team chemistry.

I saw a few opportunities early in the game Bears could capitalize on and those are the plays you want to see. Even in these shell games I want to see good decisions sometimes it’s there other times it isn’t. They have the players to compete hopefully can get healthy when we have starters out on the O line already I hope we can at least put forth the competitive effort this team can have. Consistency in the scheme is what will hopefully help the Bears turn it around.
