8:45 : The range on Zoe Q keeps going with her ult because in playtesting it felt horrible for it to fizzy by a fraction of a second. Plus, it is her ultimate so they have to put some power into it even if you mess up the timing slightly. CertainlyT talked about it during her development process.
Awesome stuff man, was looking forward to hearing your take on the Zoe buffs. Really appreciated your narrating your thought process for almost every small action you took in this video, you often do a good job with that but this video felt like a really good primer for someone who's just started to play Zoe and wants to learn good laning and early-game principles with her.
That was an incredibly dominating performance. It's amazingly demoralizing to play against a Zoe that knows what they are doing, and having that insane Kha'zix and the shows-no-fear Riven to go alongside it was just too much.
@@darthgonkdroid exactly, I think now Zoe can stack spell thief item faster then any poke support with q1-aa-q2-aa, while peeling for adc, zoning for ganks and setting up fights with E, warding 2 screens away with R, roaming for free, AND getting all the balloons?? Can't wait to play it:)
i wouldnt say the zoe W buff is a low elo thing. i get the feeling that - in higher elos- zoe becomes predictable, just like a draven who wants his axe. you want that balloon and you are "forced " to lasthit if you want a potential tool to win the next fight/escape whatever. now you can let your frontline lasthit it. see what you get and make a potential play with whatever you collected , without going into a position you maybe dont want to be in , right this moment. a combo i see you doing would be Q,R,Q , collect item , use said item and speed around . i am looking forward to pekin doing that :)
I don't play Zoe, but I do play Sylas, I'm low elo, but I've found that Zoe ult is actually pretty useful in a 1v1, as it allows me to E from portal, and get pulled in anyway after coming back
I am so bad at Zoe but I’d love to learn how to play her. Your videos give me more confidence to try. Thank you! Edit: first Zoe game went 3/1/1 and enemy surrendered early. Did way better than I thought ! 😊
as a zoe support enjoyer, the w change is actually a huge buff. you don't have to go..... the..... ap support item that..... you know what i mean, to get the bubble on a minion anymore.
Pekin in normal games is playing super smart while also explaining stuff, but good lord, pekin in high elo games is just playing 4D chess. After every kill, he goes "I was anticipating ..." like he can actually predict the future LMAO (I know it's normal to anticipate, I just find it kinda funny)
After watching this, my wife left me because I was dominating mid instead of her. I can now play midlane at a challenger level, I would recommend this video to any friend who is looking to improve their BDSM relationship with league of legends.
just played a game vs yone and it is really annoying how that champ can take bad trades and somehow still win fights. I mean, zoe is a great champ but against champs who can heal a lot its really hard to do anything because once you throw your abilities you cannot do much more.
The thing that triggers me the most is the fact that he has no mana. I can poke him a lot to then all in but then I have no mana left while he can do wathever he wants for as long as he wants
5:30 If you ignite the sylas before he takes and uses kha ult, you see the shimmers wherever he walks and you can chase for the kill no? Obviously its NOT important, you already are fed and its sylas ult for nothing in that situation, but i feel like you maybe couldve still killed
That Janna is malding. "Coinflip AD Seraphine". Like how is that coinflip, it has waveclear, it has long range poke, it has sustain, picking Janna with it has decent synergy, nothing super special like Ashe or Taric or Heimer but it's still better than something like Blitz with her and at the end of the day, if you are getting your ass beaten in lane you can easily comeback because unlike other ADC's or even bot lane APC's you are still useful without Item advantage. Get a Mask, it will burn, regardless of lead, get a Rylais and you can straight up carry teamfights with 2-3 s cooldown roots on morgana range but hitting multiple targets or extend cc on someone to keep them chained and your ult isn't all that hard to land to be fair, just cast it through mates and enemies and it goes flyyyying. Look, all I'm saying is, it's not a coinflip, it's a stacked deck.
sad that they ff'd so early :( was a fun game with a lot of nice bubbles n shit so would have been cool to see it go to late gate to see u pop off, but oh well !
If you use an ability you gain a buff that makes your next auto empowered, if you have W running with the 3 little sparks that buff is applied to the W sparks which then makes your auto normal again
