Carlo Tevez lived in England for 5 years(?) and he can't speak english. Same with Diego Costa. But this legend who lives in Italy his whole life can speak decent english. ☺
Well its not the same education system Italian education system is MEGA superior to cheap argentina and cheap brazil education Furthermore because of italy high tourism and high number of foreigner. Italian are used to speak english more than in brazil & argentina Living in Milan/roma/torino is far better quality of life than sao paolo/rosario/buenos aires. Like common

The countries you mentioned are Spanish and Portuguese speaking respectively so it impossible for them to master English Language. It's different in the case of European countries due to exposure to England and English language through media and technology
That's the thing about English. It's an efficient language and you only need 1 or 2 words for someone to understand what you mean. As long as the context is there :D
This really showed his character and manner. He wanted to respect the stage and the audience as much as he could so even if he knew he could not speak well he just gave it a try. We should all give him a huge huge respect.

Almost every youngster who has received education speaks English more or less. English is very very very very popular in China. And it is a compulsive subject for students to learn in given education

there is only ONE Buffon. Recently, I saw him keep Goal for Italy's friendly against Argentina at Manchester's Etihad Stadium. Have to say, this guy has amazing athleticism along with Presence, was an honour to see him and an honour witnessing his magic, Argentina won the match, but Buffon created some spectacular saves, he really moved like someone 20 years younger! Goodluck to a very special, & nice man.
Respect for this man, never played in an English speaking country, only in Italy (and now in France), but never has to speak English before, and he tries it. Neymar, Messi and some other non-English players don't even try to speak English!

A gentleman and a Legend one of the greatest keepers ive ever seen, and i really hope he is still playing in his 50s and breaks another football record. The things that people dont see with Buffon is how he treats his younger team mates and nurtures them, helps them laugh and breaks the pressure . Atleast he tried and explained his feeling for the most, a sportsman indeed. Incapable of speaking certain language my be a drawback on international platforms nowadays but his language of communication rolls on greens with pride.
