Glad your still doing these but the next episode Fool For Love is a cross over episode and you need to watch that in for the Buffy episode to make sense in regards to Angels role

Fool For Love is my favourite episode of the entire franchise, mainly because it explained how Spike got his trenchcoat. I was near the end of my gothic "rain or shine it's trenchcoat time" phase, slowly but surely accepting the biological fact that I am not immortal, so Fool For Love really appealed to me. Time is cruel but fair ☠️

A lot of the subtext in Buffy isn't very obvious. I honestly thought the vampires were supposed to represent uh vampires, just vampires not teenage angst or whatever.

I loved binge watching this show with a nice bag of green. The last season was a bit crowded though, when Buffy's house was overrun with vampire slayers. I didnt mind that as much as the cringy proto-woke "Let's make every girl in the world a vampire slayer." Sidenote : Did anyone else ever notice the name "Thomas Wanker" on the end credits? What a bloody unfortunate name.
