The best documentary on the subject. All that have been said makes perfect sense. and the delivery is just perfect. The only unexpected thing - I thought flashbacks are always positive, as long as original experience was positive; was lucky to experience a dozen or so of them as less overwhelming replicas of the "original" which was totally magical. Could easily sacrifice a few hours of sleep to occasionally experience the flashbacks again.

This may be true but I think that if you think about the toads and what will become of them if they continue to be used for our gratification. If it becomes even more popular do you really want to see them farmed and what chemicals may be in the frog then? Perhaps the natural can be kept for special occasions if it is valued more so as not to destroy the gift?
I've watched a few documentaries on this subject over the years and this is the best on so far. Amazing visuals and in depth interviews. This is truly a powerful medicine. I have only done DMT (the liquid version) once last year and it was very intense for me. I felt a force communicating with me and showing my personal demons, trauma and the human story

The issue with psychedelic enlightenment is that you might skip the grounding part. So, you go higher and higher, but your roots might not be strong enough to handle that. This can cause big fear, psychosis, more illusions or even a big setback on the path. Like, going too fast. I think when doing it naturally, the trees and the roots grow accordingly. Might be able to take a bit of psychedelics here and there, but it's definitely a risk regarding the balance of that. Psychedelics just tools to reach these states. Yes, it's more work doing it organically and takes more time and practice, but it's long lasting, Psychedelics are like those cycle training wheels that children need for initial support, the idea is to ride the cycle without them. Otherwise, people just rely on external substances to induce these states for the long term. With that said, I'm not anti-psychedelics, I agree inner integration is vital in conjunction with them. However, from what I've come to understand in my current level of awareness is that our minds (subconscious) is very powerful on healing psychologically, emotionally and physically. At the moment, I'm focused on being more aware in my dreams to become lucid so I can use this platform for healing, exploration on the nature of consciousness and reality. I've also been practising self hypnosis for the past 15 years and it's changed my life without any external "drugs" or "substances." Also, the part about Spiritual bypassing is so true and I've noticed that a lot within the New Age communities and Gurus who don't want to take personal responsibilities to face the inner dark shadow and traumas in order for real healing to take place.
I wouldn't call them "external drugs" necessarily. For example, DMT is produced in the human body and it has been speculated that even 5-MeO-DMT is produced in the body (this has not been 100% confirmed yet). The toad just produces higher amounts that people then end up smoking. Our bodies need hundreds of external substances to survive (amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fats) so I don't think this aspect is very important. It is true that inner work and meditation can lead to enlightenment, psychedelics are more like the fast track with a high peak. Integration is needed to for it to be as long lasting as when going the "sober" route.
@@timo1573 Psychedelics are definitely not for everyone, especially schizophrenics, in my opinion. and have to be approached with extreme caution and ensure that one integrates it after. They're just tools and there other ways to reach those states, like I said in my post, organically, does take a bit of work and persistency. I personally feel *lucid dreaming* is much more effective and powerful to reach these states than meditation, but it does require practice, for those who wants a quick reach, they can choose the psychedelics route. Definitely, don't need to rely on psychedelics to reach those states, that's my point in that post.
I'm not sure how this makes me feel. These people seem very knowledgeable and are sharing information to help people make good decisions. That being said, they, along with anyone else who broaches the subject of 5 MEO-DMT from a place of knowledge are deceiving themselves. They know almost nothing. And knowing that is basically step 1 of entering that world.
agreed.... also somewhere in the video they said you must not try 5meo without previous experience. If that is not the dunbest thing to say i do not know what is. How can I do 5meo only if i have previous experience? So how will i start then?
