Bag out bug functions as both bare necessity for evacuation and an equipment that helps to keep everything at hand.
0. First aid kit
- For an adult - one main kit and a small one (an extra one which is always at hand).
- For a kids - a small one always at hand
but they mustn’t use it on their own.
The kit has to contain:
-bandage rolls,
-antihistamines,
antipyretics,
-painkillers,
-chlorhexidine (not hydrogen peroxide or alcohol),
-band-aid (by the way, cotton band-aid is very convenient to use).
1. Water
- always take a small bottle with you (0.5 liter bottle for person)
2. Food:
- Take some snacks for 2-3 meals.
- It is important you keep them in zip-bags.
- all the food has to be cooked beforehand.
- some tea bags, coffee sticks or something like that. (very important! - if you have the opportunity to make a hot drink - drink something warm)
- chocolate and sweets (very important!)
- pack tightly so that it does not smell
3. Documents
- Keep your documents in watertight zip-bags
- Put a note with your blood type in
- If you have any allergies or chronic diseases, put a note with their description in there as well
4. Money
- Do not keep it all in one place (cash)
- gold/silver (in case of absolute crisis)
5. Whistle
- Hanging over your neck, always at hand. In critical moment it is easy to get it
- Every kid has to carry a whistle
- Important rule: 3 whistles when heard mean you have to leave everything behind and run here
- The whistle has to be used only in case of extreme emergency
6. Torch:
- Everyone has to have own torch, it is really important;
- you have to take some spare batteries/accumulators in the pocket.
7. Knife
-everyone has their own penknife
8. Communication other than smartphone
- Push-button phone old (keep charge, catch better)
- a small radio (maybe built into a push-button phone)
- do not leave your home without a mobile phone,
- do not leave home without a push-button mobile phone,
- do not leave your home without a PowerBank.
9. Clothes:
- Warm clothes (1 warm item per person is allowed, for example, a jacket)
- Take some stuff like underwear and socks for 5 days considering no option to do the washing.
- A separate bag with always dry clothes (for example, T-shirt-underpants-socks) - do not open, this is a spare that you can always count on.
10. Hygiene:
- Wet wipes
- Take a piece of soap, toothpaste, small towel, manicure scissors, tweezers

11. A notebook and a pencil.
- Put a notebook in a watertight bag then attach a pencil to it
12. Lighter, tape, thread and a needle
- It is very convenient to stick some tape or ducktape over the lighter
13. Phone numbers:
- you have to write down the most important numbers then put your notes into a watertight bag
- Learn 2 numbers by heart: own number and the number of the person he trusts
