Camping pads - Many types of pads I have a video explaining them. For example right now I take a pad that is good to -30. Where in the summer I take a different pad. A pad is more than comfort. You can have a -30 below pad with a 0 degreee quilt and sleep very comfortable. All pads are rated. You will loose most of your heat thru the ground then above. The ground will suck your heat out of you so depending on weather will determine the pad.

TARP - tarps are what I call OK! In the winter they are fine because your not dealing with mosquitos or ticks. Summer time you are going to want a tent. I run a Dan durston 2 man text which is like 2lbs and you can get lighter if you want to spend. But a tarp is not for me.

Nice idea with the anbesol and liquid skin. I carry both in my kits. It’s the little details that make a difference. 👍🏻

I've been out with teeth problems, too stubborn to come back early. So, I learned the hard way. Thanks for watching 👀

Just my own personal preference, but i would not have a pack that heavy without a good lumbar support and load lifter on the straps. My bag only weighs 24lbs with gear and 3 liters of water inside the bag.

The pack has internal support and a strong, comfortable waste belt. But I agree with you, a frame would be ideal. I've had the weight as light as 28lbs. I can always shed weight, but you can't add something. Thanks, brother, for your comments 🙏

Try your best to keep water to your waist. Anything that is on your waist you will not feel the weight. I run 2 water bottles and a knife and a hatchet to my waist and you do not know it there.

I try to keep water low. In my area water is everywhere and I don't worry about it. Out west, it's a bigger worry. I like water bladers on my back. Long distances and weight on your waist takes it out of you. Most military load outs will be above the waist for that reason. It's preference I guess. Thanks for your comments. 😊

===Comment not meant to upset you==== -- Proper pack fitted is most important for walking -- A tent is best for bugs and more -- Then a pad and sleeping bag for the weather Look at each section and then build it. I do not like saywer I prefer a first need water purifier because it does virus and more but it cost more money. Now I see alot of shiny gear in that pack yet your stating you go out in it. Sorry I am not trying to offend you but I am calling you out. I do not believe your out testing any of it. Anyone who just buys and tosses it in a pack will certainly not make it. I have gone out in super cold temps in high winds and video taped it. To show people how to test gear. Get out and put 5 miles in then camp for night. In winter test your gear in your yard first before moving into the wilderness to test. I see very little in that pack that would help you in the winter. Also a bugout bag is a bag you never plan to return so the majority in that type of pack should not be items that expire or are used only a few times. A get home bag is to keep you alive for a few days to get you home. I can see this bag being a get home bag.

Backpack is garbage. Alot of companies make these cool looking camo packs and thats why people buy them. Let me explain a pack has to fit you just like your shoes. If you look up "fitting backpacking pack" on youtube you will see a pack needs to be fitted. Also you this to far away from your back this will do nothing more then pull you backwards. Look into a pack that fits you

It's an excellent pack for the money 💰 I've found it comfortable with heavy loads on long mountain hikes. And durable. Would it hold up in Afghanistan 4yrs. Probably not, but a person who occasionally uses it will last a long time and is a good value. I like a frame pack best. Human beings have been backing for a long time (hunter-gatherer). Designer packs are relatively new to the scene. Don't try to tell someone who has used something ten years. It's garbage. Pointing out there are better options is a better tack.
