In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. If only the Butterfly had a full recline, I’d buy it in a heartbeat. For this reason only, despite all the disadvantages, I’m going to get Coya when our baby gets a bit older and lugging both him and the Priam just become too much for my back.

I have the butterfly for a very long time now,I like that the strap is short because it’s not wobbling around when I carry it.I wash the seat fabric all the time and it’s like brand new so maybe they fixed it after a few complaints?And also you can lift it in a more upright position,you clic the button on the back and then pull it more,it’s gets to an almost upright position!!

Does the butterfly have a removable seat cushion with a mesh back as well ???

Bugaboo butterfly is definitely my pick if it reclines more. Which stroller do you recommend with full reclines or close to full reclines . I’m looking for a compact stroller. Coya, influencer or something else?

I have the ergobaby metro compact stroller and its seat fully reclines, I love it !

I have found a way to make the strap more accessible for the bugaboo butterfly (I don't own it, just played around with it in the store) by moving the connection points, I'm just wondering if that would interfere with the longevity of the stroller

What do you mean by “moving the connection points”? Did the strap get longer by doing this or just easier to access?

Not sure how many of your viewers are from North America, but it might be worth noting in future videos that when you talk about "cabin luggage acceptable", you are referring the IATA size, which is larger in two dimensions than a North American "carry-on". IATA recommends a maximum size of 56 cm × 45 cm × 25 cm (22 in × 18 in × 10 in), including protuberances like wheels, handles, and pockets. Although North American airlines vary in the sizes they accept, the general guidance for domestic flights is 22 in × 14 in × 9 in (56 cm × 36 cm × 23 cm). That size specified by Alaska, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue, and United Airlines, and fits within guidelines for all other airlines. I've been disappointed in the past when watching a video of your about travel strollers only to find out the one you're reviewing isn't actually carry-on size for North America. Off the top of my head, I think you've put all the strollers that actually fold up small enough to be a North American carry-on on your "don't buy" list. We've been happy with our Cybex Libelle and are considering a Silver Cross Jet despite your complaints. But I'd love to know if there is a stroller that meets those size requirements that you actually recommend!

the butterfly is accepted here on flights as is the babyzen yoyo
@khadyoung
@khadyoung Год назад
@@signediaz2469 Bugaboo's own marketing materials state that the Butterfly is (only) "IATA-compatible" because it is 21.26 in × 17.72 in × 9.06 in, which is nearly 4 inches over the width limit for North American domestic flight carry-ons. The Yoyo is 20.5 in × 17.3 in × 7.1 in, which is also several inches over the width limit. Babyzen even covers their butts in their FAQ by saying: "Since 2012, the YOYO strollers are accepted or recognized as cabin luggage by most airline companies. However, cabin luggage standards may vary according to the airline and we therefore recommend checking with your chosen airline before travelling for the latest applicable cabin luggage allowance." The truth is, it doesn't meet the requirements of most North American airlines. Are people getting lucky when they push the limits with those strollers? I have no doubt! But when I'm traveling, I don't like to leave something like that to chance.

I've put my Babyzen Yoyo in the overhead on both US domestic flights and international flights with no problems.
@khadyoung
@khadyoung Год назад
@@swtxtc03 Guitars are accepted as carry-on items on many airlines and fit in the overhead bins. But they take up way more space than a standard carry-on that actually meets the size requirements. I hope you continue to get lucky and aren't forced to gate check it. I don't enjoy that level of risk in my travels.
