Beneath its sleek exterior lies a carbon-fiber monocoque and aluminum tubular subframes, ensuring both lightness and rigidity.
In a departure from the current trend towards hybrid and electric powertrains, the Nilu embraces a pure, analog driving experience. At its heart lies a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, paired with a seven-speed manual transmission. This combination eliminates the complexity of modern powertrain systems, offering a visceral and engaging driving experience.
The exterior of the Nilu is a testament to Selipanov's design prowess. Its wide twin-scoop mouth, sloping roofline, and rear-mounted NACA duct create an aerodynamic and visually striking profile. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes provide exceptional handling and stopping power, while the proposed 2600-pound dry weight ensures agile performance.
The Nilu will make its public debut on August 15th during Monterey Car Week 2024. The initial production run will be limited to 15 hand-assembled cars, with plans for a subsequent run of 54 street-homologated variants. Pricing and delivery details have not yet been announced.
