60s/70s is probably the best. But 70s/80s, especially when the Afro met the Jheri Curl, when the Rhodes piano sounded most like a bell before the cheap gloss of the Yamaha DX-7...it was the peak of production before music got heavily reliant on electronics and got lazy
I like how he started off acting like he was happy for his ex and saying "I'm not trying to change your mind" but then flips to how he feels and asks the million dollar question "Do you love him...like I looooooooove you". LOVE IT!

I have this very album in my collection. To get it, it cost me an arm and a leg. This is very difficult to find. And this song is my particular favorite. A big hit in our country.

Je suis un fan absolu de la musique Californienne ( j'ai découvert LE CALIF à la grande époque de cet extraordinaire genre musical l'âge d'or c'est à dire dans la deuxième moitié des années 70 rendez-vous compte !!!!!!!!!!!!!! )Je possède bien évidemment cet album en vinyle !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Le CALIF c'est le bonheur et la Joie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Et pour voyager il n'y a rien de mieux !!!!!!!!!!!! Quel plaisir de pouvoir entendre ce duo qui date du début des années 80 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
