Infinium is revolutionary. Removes all the pain from tube amplification, leaving the best parts only. 1) No need to pay a guy for check tubes (the leds make this automatically ) 2) No need to pay more for a matched pair or quartet. The amp does itself 3) Auto bias. Never pay again for a tech guy to rebias the amp. The amp adjusts automatically to the new valve. 4) Due to this circuit, valves can last 20x longer (= 20 years) with proper care. Don't need to replace everytime. 4) they are affordable. You can even have a small collection of cabs, heads and combos and never change tubes again. 5) you can use any tube with same pin configuration: 6LC, EL34 5881... and MIX THEM. 6) i love the design, vintage looks and details of the brand. The name and the logo are super cool too. Why are the other brands not bankrupt yet? To me All this reasons are enough to buy them all.
Because people will talk shit on them because they're not a big name, like people do with Harley Benton and similar. I believe there were some early QC issues with Bugera, but it's not like Mesas etc aren't built in inconvenient and stupid ways and don't also fail. (I forget the channel but there's an amp tech on youtube who has a LOT to say about major amp manufacturer build quality.)
Sold. The first note of that intro jam combined with the value on offer did it for me. Second amp in a wet/dry setup along with my Victory Jack I reckon!

Maybe it's because Lee owns the store and wants to sell as much as possible (can't blame him, it's the whole point lol) but I totally agree. It's refreshing to see content that's not just "LOOK AT ALL THIS EXPENSIVE GEAR!" and checks out the more affordable side. Bugera amps are fantastic. There are some little flaws here and there (plastic jacks, in particular) but honestly, I love my V5 and 1965. Wouldn't trade them for the world. Now I'm looking at the V22 as well.
I know the program was highlighting ‘Bugera amps’ but being an owner of a v22 for some years. and a Fender amp man for many years I wondered about the possibilities. So after some research I changed v1 to a lower gain, upgraded the rest of the tubes, put a Celestion in and added a 25k volume thru the effects loop and now closer to a tweed type tone…so, you can easily mod a Bugera to get those boutique-ish tones. I have the v22 and am perfectly satisfied - even after playing a Super Reverb for years. I bet this would be a killer amp with two 10 inch Celestion Golds…but then your approaching the cost of the traditional screamers. The up side is you can upgrade over time and have fun doing it - like a parts caster. Tony Orzino
@@anthonyorzino7728 I did the same as you but a 5751 in v1 and a Celestion AlNiCo Cream, transformed the amp. So what does a 12ay7 in V1 and the 25k pot through the loop each do for the amp?
Clint - The 12y7 is lower gain therefore the attack is a bit more compressed and smoother. The 25k through the effects loop give more control over the preamp gain almost like an attenuation. Check out Wampler Pedals utube. Basically put a 25k in a box with an in and out and try it..I was surprised at the extra control.
@@anthonyorzino7728 Thanks Tony! Yea i have seen that Wampler vid where he did it on a HR Deluxe :). I figured that is what the master volume knob basically was? Run my clean and drive channels as high as they go but in balance and adjust the master per situ, at home its on 1-2 and gigs are 3-4. I have an actual speaker attenuator but i kinda like it without the compression it creates. Both a 12ay7 and the 25k potentiometer box are easy and cheap so i will definitely check it out. I have the v22 and it's a BEAST. I've performed live with it a couple of times and it's an amazing amp at high volumes. Gain falls off a bit at low volumes when compared to the digital alternatives but it still holds up in clear tones. Reverb is digital but serviceable. Great apartment amp, that packs a nice punch if you need it to.
After testing dozens of tube amps in many stores for a month, I found a used V22. The sound was exactly what I was looking for. Somewhere between fender and older peavey (and half the cost). Way more full sounding than fender or Marshall and no shreeking high end. The Bugera vintage line is a hillariously overlooked line and offers a warm and defined tone most people are probably looking for. It has an fx loop too, so what more could you need? And yes, the Quality of components and construction is on par with all the "big labels". This amp has spent weeks in my work van with zero wear or issues.
I have owned a Bugera T-50 for the last 5 years, absolutely love it still rocking the original tubes and it sounds great, takes pedals well. I run it through an older behringer 4x12, I wouldn't hesitate to gig with it (and have). I will always be a bugera fan!!
I bought one for the same reason. It's not perfect, but it's been such a good amplifier for me. It takes my pedals well and pumps out great full classic rock tones. Very pleased with it.
As an owner of a Bugera V22 amp I am happy you are reviewing these amps. Mine sounds great with my Line 6 POD Go. Sounds great with single coils, alnico or humbuckers. Solid amp for the price. Thanks for the review.
Glad you guys finally did a Bugera review. I’ve had a V55 head since 2010 and got a V22 head in 2016. I only use the gain channel and love it. If you eq it properly, it’s amazing.
Very exciting video, I’ve owned V22 for a while and am absolutely satisfied. Owned and sold many amps and I am keeping this one. I run in stereo with a Marshall MG100dfx, whole set up under a grand with pedals
This video didn't do the gain channel on the V55 any justice! I run mine in Triode mode permanently and running into the normal channel instead of the bright channel gets rid of any horrible fizz. Gun the Volume with Gain around 4 with the boost in and you've got a great hard rock rhythm tone, Only need one boost/tube screamer/OD/fuzz in front and you've got gain for days. Both channels clean up super nice, I normally run the gain on the clean channel fairly high too so there's some bite if I want to dig in on ambient stuff and the amp does actually have a spring reverb tank. I would definitely recommend the V55 for anyone interested, you'd be daft not too honestly and I hope that you found this helpful if you're reading this!
I LOVE my Bugeras!! I picked up two V5s back around 2010 when they only cost about $125. One of the best investments I ever made. I turned one into a head and run it into a 12" cab (Weber large cone for harmonica) and blow harp through it in my blues band. It can get drowned out a bit by the band if they play too loud, but otherwise it's great. My other V5 is my bedroom amp. I did upgrade the speaker in it with a Weber. I also have an infinium V22 head. A friend got the combo version and I loved how much clean headroom it had, so I got the head. MASSIVE amounts of clean volume, plus some really nice tone shaping options with the pentode/triode mode switch. It's my 'studio fender' amp. You can get all those cleans but without the typical Fender volume-knob issue (anything past 1 is deafening). I admit though I don't care much for the overdrive channel in it. It's GREAT for in a mix, but it's not my general style for jamming around, so I use pedals with it usually. I've re-tubed them all. 12AT7 in the splitter slot on the V22 for even more clean power handling. I've never had one issue with any of them. Solid amps. I also highly recommend the Monoprice 15watt tube amp. Honestly, it's probably the only amp most players will need. Controllable enough for the bedroom, but loud enough and portable enough for gigging. The Monoprice 5 watt 'champ-esque' is fun, too. It's not a true Champ circuit but its character comes close.
I purchased my V5 in 2010 for $110 on sale. And, like you, it is arguably the best money on gear I've ever spent. I have never had a problem with it, and it sounds terrific considering it has an 8 inch speaker. I did change the 12ax7 for a 12at7; I didnt lose any volume because I never dime the gain, but it did make the sweet spot larger. The Captain didn't do it any favors with that Squier Strat. It sounds far better than that. There are some very good Squier guitars but they definitely need a set up and some quality strings.
I use a V5 ,and a Mono price 5W for a living room wet /dry rig .I play a lot more guitar with this set up then I do with my big rig .That mono price is no joke it sounds killer after you break the speaker in .
I can't help but love the 50's style aesthetics of this range. It makes a nice change from plain black or grey/silver mesh. Also when you figure out the budget nature of these, you realise that they make the perfect first valve combo for your typical guy who started off with a Squire or Epiphone starter set (after all the amp is always the weakest point of those kits - not counting the shoddy cable and strap).
I've had my bugera V55 for close to 10 years now, and the only thing I have fixed on it, was the original speaker. The unit corroded in the speaker membrane and I put a different speaker in it, and it still plays great
The V22 was my first tube/valve amp. I bought it back in 2017 and it has been a good reliable amp to me ever since. If you're looking for your first tube/valve amp. Definitely check these out.
Had the V22 Infinium for some years now, put an AlNiCo cream in it, put in JJ tubes, most importantly a 5751 in V1 (makes the drive channel fantastic, no fizz). Awesome amp! To put it in perspective i thought id buy a Fender 68 DRRI and itd be my forever amp and would sound nicer, A/B them for a few days, ended up sending the 68 back. With the V22 its very bright so a darker/smoother more bass heavy speaker, quality tubes with a 5751 in v1 (a must) and dial the bass up to 8, mids and treble at about 3 youll be blown away :).
Some of the Bugera stuff are definitely sleeper hits. They took a knock to their brand in the early days with some reliability issues which is why I think they've gone under the radar a bit but they do make some great sounding amps and having owned one in the past and know other people who have them they've always been fine reliability wise. Definitely worth a look for the price.
I have the v22 and couldn’t be any happier. Coincidentally I also have an epiphone les Paul and the sounds and tones you can get with this combo is amazing! Easily the best $1,000 combo
Took delivery of my V5 and I’m blown away by it. I honestly expected it to at least have some rough edges and flaws for the price, but it feels well put together with good quality materials. I’ve ready that it can sound a bit on the dark side, but it pairs very well with my “bright” Jazzmaster. Add another $150 for a 12” speaker with separate cabinet and I don’t think there’s anything out there that can beat it for $350 all in.
I bought a V22 a couple of years ago and have never considered anything else. My AC-15 went into the closet; my vintage 1975 Peavey 2x12 was given to my brother. The V22 far exceeded my expectations. I play it on the normal channel, clean at 12:00 and run it through a Boss BD-2 blues driver set at 12:00 on all knobs. Whether you use a Strat or Gibson style humbucker, the tone is flawless playing clean or dirty. So glad to see you guys compare these. I see no reason to ever need another amp. Love your show Captain. Been a fan for years. Cheers from the States!
Grateful to have used the Bugera Infinium V22 thoughout my late highschool to college years, got me through many a gig! Its funny how ya’ll compared it to a hot rod because I just upgraded to a hot rod and recently installed the alnico creamback speaker from ya’ll other video! I’ve been loving the tone even more since 🎸🤩
I actually owned both the V22 and V55. Very good amps. The V22 is a sweet sounding EL-84 sounding deal. Clean channel is sublime. Drive channel is eh, not great. I prefer single channel amps and pedalboards anyhow. Great for home playing, jam nights etc. I did run outta amp (headroom) at a gig. The V55 covers it all, not for apartment dwelling bedroom but can be used in that capacity. I still own it and love it.
I have a Bugera V5 and it's honestly the best budget amp you can buy to play at home. I bought a Blues Junior tweed that I use more often, and sometimes I miss the tones from the Bugera. It's a killer amp.

I just pulled the trigger on a V55 :) Thank you Capt and Pete! UPDATE after some days: I came from a 100W Katana to this V55... I will NOT go back :) The V55 is actually amazing! I just love the clean sound that I find myself playing just clean. Its just worth it! Totally recommended.
I do that with my v22. US strat straight into the clean channel with no pedals. It's just effortless tone. Probably the best clean amp tone I've ever had to be fair. Incredibly, it is also the least expensive valve amp I've ever owned.
I’ve owned one of the blue light models for eleven years. It sits in the same room as an Origin 50 Marshall stack, a Fender Deluxe Reverb and a Fender Champ. It still gets a lot of play and is a beautiful sounding amp. It refuses to turn on once in a great while, but I check back with it from time to time and it always comes back to life.
I picked up a V22 second hand for about £200 roughly a year ago. Still has the valves it came with and I love it to bits. I use the clean channel almost exclusively and throw pedals at it (mostly cheap ones too). I use the four lead system and have tremelo and reverb/delay via the FX loop. It is certainly giggable and for home use the Torpedo Captor used as a load box makes it bearable while still in the sweet spot. To me it does the driven Fender sound very well, especially with a Mooer Green overdrive (Tube Screamer clone) in front. Signal chain goes tuner (natch), Mooer Yellow compressor, Pure Sky low gain booster, Mooer Green OD, Budda Om overdrive and TC Electronic Mimiq. Tone City Blue Crystal Delay/Reverb and Tone City Tremelo in the FX loop. Cheapest (and best sounding) gig rig I have ever owned. I also have a Mooer Little Monster AC and Harley Benton (ahem) 1 x 12 with Celestion speaker in it and run that in parralel for some more chimey, less negative feedback, thickness. This whole rig cost £800 ish (including the pedalboard and power supply). Still cheaper than a Vox AC30. Loved the demo, chaps.
I've had the Bugera V5 for almost 10 years. Upgraded the speaker to a Jensen ($50) and changed the tubes to JJ's ($20). For around $200 all in it is a great practice valve amp. Really nice entry into tube amps.
I bought a secondhand V22 last week. OMG, what a sound. I have the Fender Tonemaster and Tequila Sunrise, but hey the Bugera beat them both!! AMAZING! I only play clean sounds, no pedals!
You are supposed to put the amp in standby mode before you switch the pentode/triode switch to either position. I have the early version blue pilot light V-22 amp. It has to do with the high voltages arcing in the power tubes when you switch the pentode/ triode switch.
No problem with mine of 8 years. My v 55 is plugged into an Avatar 2by12 pine cab with cheap chinese celestion speakers. That upper mid complaint isn't there with the celestions. I have an older peavey Windsor head that I put 12ay7s in the first two preamp tubes slots to make it more of a vintage Marshall gain. It was an jcm 800 hot rodded copy. They are reliable
@@xcx8646 Trick is to then have the clean volume up really high to get the edge of breakup. For me with a tele the it's dimed and with my p90 strat it's about 8-9 :). I found the tin of bees sound can be smoothed out with the treble backed off to about 3 mids about 4-5. That's my experience anyhow with the 5751 and a Celestion alnico cream speaker in it.
@@xcx8646 yea tone is so subjective hey :). I actually bought a Fender 68 deluxe reverb, a/b it with the Bugera and sent the 68 back. Never gigged with it though which is where it wouldve shined I'm sure. Different amps also. I find the bugera mire marshall/vox ish. The 12ax7 definitely does the clarity thing better especially at bedroom level and if I used it as single channel (not drive channel) with just my pedals I'd probably tend to go back to that. You might have preferred the v55 with the 6L6's 🤘
I've had a V22 for just about nine years now. I'm running it stock, and actually still with the original valves in there. They've gone slightly fuzzy and warmer over time, but it's pretty loud, pretty good and I won't be changing valves before one blows on me. Takes pedals quite well, too.
I’ve got the blue light pre infinium v22 ,they were supposed to be crap ..it’s ten years old now ,still on its original valves and speaker the same as the other fella and it’s not let me down once ,unlike the Fender blues deluxe re issue I’ve got too .that’s been a dog of a thing ,the same with my friends hot rod deluxe re issue he’s had no end of bother with that ,,the same issue as mine.burned up board where the two square resistors are .
I'm still using the original 5 watt version I bought ten years ago, I built a small cabinet and loaded it with a 10 inch warehouse speaker and it still rocks today. It's the only tube amp I currently own but I've owned plenty of tube amps in the last 55 years.

Love these too! I have the V22 combo and head. Sound great through a 4 x 12. The gain channel can be altered quite a bit with the Gain-Volume knob combinations clean channel can really crunch on it's own turned up a bit. - Rob.
Would be nice to see a "Is it worth upgrading the speaker?" like you did for the fender and katana amps. The price of each speaker compared to the amp and how much of a difference compared to the stock speaker are two things I'd be interested to hear.
Right question but tbh I think these amps have their versionnof a greenback. I mean Turbosound is so big in speakers that they do not lack any knowledge to copy it properly. I sure that would be the design brief
I love they put up the decibel meter in the background so we all had an idea of room volume, and it’s been covered by that headstock for the last few videos now.
I own the V5. Had it for a bunch of years before the infinium series. I switched out the speaker to a Eminence Patriot. Love it. Great sounding bedroom amp and loves my pedal board
I have the V22 and love it. For a hobby player like me, it does everything I need amp to do. For effects, I have a Paisley Overdrive, EVH overdrive, EVH Phaser, Way Huge Echo and a few others. The V22 takes all the pedals really well and it's plenty loud enough for me. 👍😊🎶
I have ha friend with a V22 combo. Running the speaker out into a cab sounds MASSIVE. Great amp. Just needs a tube screamer into one of the high gain channels or a distortion pedal into the clean on crunch and it sounds killer. I like the sound of the power tubes in the V22 vs the V55, as I prefer EL34 vs 6L6. That said, these Infinium amps can swap pin-compatible tube types as they are self-biasing.
I hate to admit it but I’ve tried a few valve amps including VOX and Fender, and the v22 does everything similar. Also they don’t smell like burning either so they should last a long time!
Hi guys, I always love your reviews. I live in Princeton, wi usa. I’m an old classic rocker 66 y o. Been playing since 1964. Have had tons of amps, my first was a Sears silver tone guitar with a tube amp built into a hard case. I have a lot of regrets for selling many of my guitars and amps but you’ve got to remember, the vintage thing wasn’t anything because we were living in the vintage years. You could have gotten a 59 Les Paul back than pretty easy, same with 50s era strats and Telly’s. My second amp I purchased used, it was 2 years old when I bought it, a Fender Black face dual Showman with the 2/15 vertices layout not like the older showman which looked like the bottom was laying on its side. No verb, had 4 6L6 GCS AND 3 I THINK 12AX7 pre amp tubes. It was loud, at least from my perception.. back then seems like everyone in my school had Fender Amps. I remember I was jealous because my buddy our Ruth em guitarists came down into the basement with a bottom fender cabinet. The grill was different than mine,,more silvery with a dash of blue, then he brought down the head, wow it was taller than mine almost like a combo but the speaker was cut in half. He had the new I think it was close to 70, BANDMASTER with reverb, 2 6L6 GCs . I think 40 or 45 watts. I forgot what the dual showman was but it’s wasn’t 100 watts I don’t think. Gotta remember we were just freshmen in high school, there wasn’t really a sound man, we didn’t even have wedges or stage monitors, it was almost impossible on a high school gym stage to hear anyone but yourself. Quickly we were going from the wagon train frontier days to more civilized. Eventually we had a sound guy, a couple of roadies that were free cause they loved just hanging with the band. Sorry I’m drifting, there’s so much history I love watching you guys mess with new stuff, but all the same I love that people are starting to make bios for bands. If you’ve got HBO MAX check out the BeeGees documentary. It’s wonderful I mean they started out at ages 9,6, and 6. And the one by one tragedy of brothers dying first Andy Gibb at 30 years 2 days. Then Maurice in the earlier 2000s complications from surgery, finally around I STARTED A JOKE, Robin Gibb around 2012. Cancer I think. You’ll love it. Anyway I had a 1969 gold top with soap bar cream pups, wonderful guitar, but I went into high school 139 pounds and came out 180. The Les Paul was a very heavy guitar for me. We did lots of “sock hops” and school dances, later my school built a concert hangout place for the students called “THE CORRAL” we even opened for STYX ONCE. also opened for Ted Nugent what a thrill for hs kids. We practiced a lot. Anyway, I sold that beautiful black faced dual showman with cabinet and it’s 2 JBL D130. Sweet, and I purchased an ampeg V4 with a 212 cabinet. Gotta remember that stomp boxes were slowly coming out , fuzz tones, I had a cry baby wha someone stole, sometime in the early 70s I think, I saw a poster of Carlos Santana his hair more shorn with the 80s look, wearing all white. What was he playing? Why it wasn’t a prs, it wasn’t even a Les Paul. I never saw him play a single coil instrument, no he had a brand new all maple full set neck, it was the main one, not one of those later bolt necks. I had to have it, again stupid o, traded in my Les Paul standard I think, so I too bought a new GIBSON L6S All maple pickups were different, no screws on top it was totally covered in Crome. It had a six position rotary switch actually kind of wired like my 2012 PRS. Custom 24 natural finish hi gloss with a heavy quilted maple top. Back to the L6, it had interesting sounds, I didn’t like them at the time, we were playing songs like Mississippi Queen by mountain, it had out of phase positions that if you accidentally;y switch to one of those positions it can take away from the song, next, I have BIG HANDS, I wear 2x rubber gloves, it sounded ok through the v4 but.. anyway I hung on to that till 2004, traded it off stupid, fir a 12 string. I know the music company made lots of money on the sale of both guitars. Sold the big heavy ampeg v4 stupid again, but we were starting to play moose clubs every Friday night so I thought I wanted a combo. Practically gave the ampeg away, you can hardly find a v4 anymore. It was very much like a dual showman but LOUDER also no master volume I think. Funny I wasn’t still used to playing full volume. We opened for Ted nudge to in a southern WISCONSIN bar, he haddent made it big yet but in his way, we wernt aloud to use our own amps since the place was small, he said here just plug into mine. It was a loud ass Fender Twin, ANYWAY, All his knobs were at 10 maybe 10.5. After we finished playing our one set immediately as I was getting ready to walk off the stage, I hear, WTF, who’s the pussy who’s got all my knobs turned down, it was just a way to humiliate me but I still had fun, I wasn’t even legally old enough to be there. Lol The combo I purchase was a brand new PEAVEY hybrid amp. It had a 6L6 power section. It was the PeaVey VTX series 212. It’s not working now I’m tryin to avoid sending it to PeaVey for fear I’ll have more into it, then when I first bought it. Recently I missed it so I purchased a used but sounded good PeaVey VT series 212 also from the late 70s. That worked for a while then the same thing. I’m no electronics guy so I’ve got w PeaVey combos in my basement, anyway then I first purchased a Bugera V22. Head. I have lots of vintage guitar cabinets some with some classic green backs , I loved how the v22 sounded through 212 cab with speakers from an old fender twin, then in my marshal 412 cab it’s got really rare greenbacks in perfect condition that I pulled from an acoustic 405 transducer, the one with the. Variable cover and 2 banschee horns. These were Jimmy Hendrix favorites as instead of the standard 70 hz. For low end, these 4 are at 55hz, Google them, sweet clean sounds but just crank her up and they have a sweet creamy tone. Just lovely. Well I got a hel of a deal for my v22 head, came brand new in the box, and I paid 225.00 on ebay. Well I’m an old 6L6 fan being all Stars and Stripes, just kidding.so I happened to find a v55 head on ebay still about 250 free ship, so I a/b both amps in several favorites, THIS IS WHY IM WRITING YOU, THATS GREAT YOU DEMOD THE COMBOS, BUT THE HEADS WILL HAVE HUGE VARIANTS BECAUSE OF THE CHOICE OF CABINETS, I GUESS IM NOT ASKING YOU TO REDO THE Bugera show, but maybe throw an ad on with a 1/12 cab, 2/12 and maybe 412. If you feel like it, BTW, I HAD A line 6 DT50 HEAD years ago, was too busy to figure it out but after you demoed the DT 25, well I just had to get another one. Man did I luck out I bought it on reverb. There was one bid, around 219.00 and I said hell that should be about. 500 with some skuffs. My goal is to buy a new helix, the full one and buy one more DT head rather DT 25 or 50. Then control them both with the helix using the L6 Link, but so far the cheapest DT 25 is 650 on reverb. Anyway, I wish I could afford a trip to the UK before I die to see your store maybe I’ll get lucky and I’ll get to see a live show. Thanks guys I really really enjoy your shows. Have a great day.
Love my dt50 212. (I got for $250 because the tolex was looking like it was 50year vintage. Works like new)But considering a v22 to add something i could turn up to the loiny it was driving the power tubes and maybe not rattle neighbors windows as.much as the dt50 does. I see an advantage if infinitium self biasing tech, but non infinitum ones really sell cheap used. $210ish craigslist. Maybe the added feature wouldnt be worth it oftwn enough to matter
The secret of the 0.1 Watt mode on a Bugera or, say, Marshall DSL1, is to get the power section singing and use the preamp gain to dial in the amount of overall crunch you want. Even 0.1 Watts will get my neighbours whining about volume when the amp's cranked. [Edit to add: Probably a good idea to not scare off the newbies with stories of biasing valves. For one thing, there's a difference between fixed bias and cathode bias. Generally speaking, buying a matched pair of power valves in a cathode bias design will not require any fiddling.]
I have a V5 and a V55HD. I don't play the V55HD much because it's a bit too loud for home but I use the V5 fairly often. I found mine to be a bit too harsh in the treble but there's a bunch of mods readily found online to swap out certain capacitors (if you're comfortable with that) which really smooth it out and let you tweak it for your setup.
'How do they do it' No unions, no dissent, no rights, endless supply of disposable humans to do the work, subsidy by the CCP state, people running western governments paid off and not tarriffing CCP state goods properly. Simples. No judgement from me, I'm jamming on my TD3 and Neutron this evening, using their interface too. :D You did ask tho ;)
Really nice amps. I've had the G5 head for 3 years and I love it. Hard to beat all the features for the price. They sound better if you replace the stock preamp tubes.
I had the 55 watt head years back. Amazing amp for the value. Liked it much better than the hot hod deluxe I replaced it with. I would wholeheartedly suggest everyone try one out if you have the opportunity. Their higher gain stuff is quite good as well. Cheers
@@carloto96 I like them better. The JJ's seem clearer to me with the highs being more defined with my Jazzmaster. I also tried the Bugle Boy's and found them to be better with bass and distortions. I own a V22 and I like It. Stock tubes are not bad at all but they didn't last long to me.

Bugera amps are definitely good quality and value! I had a V5 infinium for three years and rocked it everyday. I wish I didn’t sell it, but I’ve gotten to much gear since the pandemic began. Traded it at the shop and it sold that day. It was my first tube/valve amp and $149 new it couldn’t be beat. Grab one and you won’t be disappointed.
I have a v22 for a decade now and it still works great. I ve done many mods over the years but the most important was the speaker replacement, it was different than this one has. Oh and the reverb broke after a while, but a pedal works better in the loop anyway.
