Yes, for 4 people Taxi is always convenient and economical…eg MRT ride for per person is minimum sgd 2, whereas Taxi ride for 4 people will cost minimum sgd 15….for taxi your are almost paying double but the final difference is only sgd 7 (15-8)….so by paying extra sgd 7, you will save lot of time and energy…make sure to download Grab app…this is same as OLA….the prices for GRAB is almost half compare to private taxi, plus the amount will be fixed which you will see at time of booking…
The official time is 10am to 10 pm…but lot of shops start to pack up by 9 pm, so most the time they don’t entertain after 9 pm…will suggest to go around 7 pm, because you will need Minimum 2 hours to explore and shop

The chances are very less, unless you have a specific skills like IT…there are lot of people already here in Singapore on dependent pass, even they are not able to find jobs now a days…It is very difficult for companies to sponsor Work Visa for foreigners, the quota is very limited, so companies always look for best candidates
