Plastic bags, solar panel, snood, gravity filter with milbank bag,notepad with pen, waterproof rain cover for the whole pack. Those were my only thoughts that could be added, otherwise I thought it was well thought out and very smart looking. That ruck is just a wonderful colour and the attachments are brilliant. I have the USMC ILBE Main Pack and Assault Pack as well as the Source Hydration Carrier. For rain gear I have Gen3 ECWCS level 6 Goretex Top and Bottom in OCP. I also noticed you use Aqua Quest Rogue Dry Bags, I use those as well as the Seal Line MACS sacks, both are awesome. I use an Aqua Quest Safari 10x10 camo tarp as well. I have my MSS Modular Sleep System in a 30 liter Aqua Quest Rogue Dry Bag. I also use the Klymit Static V Recon insulated sleeping pad and Snugpak Basecamp Ops inflatable pillow. An Arcturus all weather blanket for a ground sheet and Sea to Summit Pyramid Mosquito Net comprises my shelter system. I have my Food Procurement Kit in a FILBE Sustainment Pouch, it has a Conibear 220, two 110's, gill net, fishing gear, fishing yoyo's, bait for traps and fish, slingshot and ammo. A good mess kit is the MSR Alpine Stowaway Pot, they're $20 and come in various sizes. I have the 1.1 liter pot and inside is a spice kit, olive oil, hot sauce, and a scrubber. For tools I currently switch between two knives, a TOPS Brakimo and a Mora Carbon Garberg, I have the same Silky Big Boy 2000XL Folding Saw, Gransfors Bruk Scandinavian Forest Axe, and Leatherman Supertool 300. Thanks for Watching! It's pretty much the same for the most part and this is a maximum load, so depending on the situation I may not have this much. I like the idea of having a maxed out setup then it would be really easy to drop weight if you needed to versus trying to add things in, although I have been thinking about some changes which is just trimming it down really. Thoughts while watching your video: While I appreciate that this is YOUR setup, for YOUR needs, etc., I would still ask: 1) what does the overall kit weigh? 2) what do YOU weigh? 3) where exactly are you bugging out to, and how far it that from where you plan on starting with this rig? 4) How many times have you humped that load from where it is now, to where you want to get to if you have to "go"? 5) what circumstances would compel you to go and never come back? 6) if you have a prearranged destination in mind, how much of that stuff can you cache at your bugout location ahead of time?

Are you bugging out alone or with wife and kids or otyer family members? Before you buy the CNOC bags for the Sawyer, look into Hydroblu Go Flow bags, I bought the kit for $30, it's basically a 10 liter capacity dry bag with a Camelbak hose attachment that connects to a Sawyer Mini, the whole kit with the Sawyer and backflush syringe goes in a ditty bag that weighs very little and fits in the palm of my hand. 10 liters is way more than the 2 or 3 liters the CNOC bags can do. Its faster to fill as well, just scoop up some water, get out of sight, and hang it up and let gravity do the work. It also has a shut off so you can filter what you want and save the rest for later. Just a suggestion.

Well I considered going with hydroblu and I have some of the sidekick filters, but they emailed me wanting to send me that kit for review. So I won't promote their products without an apology, even tho they are good products and I do use them.

@@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548 that’s what I’m saying too much weight wasted on single or limited use items. Carry washable bandannas instead of tp or wet wipes. Steel bottle to boil water, save any water filters for emergency use. A long sleeve shirt and mosquito face net will last longer than a bottle of bug spray. Carry more fishing and hunting gear so you can set multiple traps and auto fishing poles to do the work while your being productive with something else.

I run the Agawa Canyon 21 saw love it way kore than the silky's but thats me and I do run a felling axe because I plan on making a substantial semi permanent shelter and knives wont do it. @alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548
@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548 3 года назад
The tool section is definitely location dependent, however alot more can be done with that parang than you might think lol but the main thing I wanted to get across is you need a good basic tool set thatll do what you need and not 50 knives, axe, hatchet, splitting maul, etc lol. I like that pot but I've been thinking of modding it like you did or going another route with more versatility, its fine for ground but no suspension which sometimes can be easier or better. When it comes to tool maintenance I have a pouch in the lid that has a worksharp field sharpener, larger strop, smaller high quality file, oil and a bees wax balm I made. Thats really more than sufficient I think and as long as you keep up with them it doesn't take as much. There is also a sewing kit that also has repair buckles in it too, I thought I said that but there was so much to go over and I was trying to hurry that I might have missed it. I did miss saying that I have a rite in the rain pad and pen, and a seed kit that got overlooked lol. When it comes to washing clothes itd just have to be done the old fashioned way lol, but there is one of those small bottles of camp soap in the hygiene kit but I'd like to get some of that dr bruaners soap ive heard alot of good about it. I think you have come across the difficulty we all face in preparing an iNCH bag. Size and Weight. Only you know if you can carry the bag, and for how far. Then theres the why we would prepare an INCH bag. The greatest threat to mankind, not just Americans, is that of Nuclear Attack.Most experts agree on this, even governments agree. (They are NOT experts btw) Yet you are the same as most people I've seen on YT you haven't got one piece of NBC kit❗️Probably the most important of all the kit you carry is NBC. Why make an INCH bag and ignore this kit❓As much as you have a big bag, anyone who's got an INCH bag has a bag as big as yours, mines actually a lot bigger. In my opinion you are sadly lacking in tools, your medication will run out very quickly, and having a large beard will kill you quicker than most, as no matter if you decide to get a good respirator you wont be able to put it on and seal it to your face❗️It is also estimated that within 6 weeks ALL game will be hunted to extinction. So food will be so hard to find it will be a nightmare for everyone. A rat will become a good meal❗️ I think you should look into just what a nuclear explosion does to society and of course people. Then you may think differently about your bag. No matter where you live in the USA, if Nuclear War happens Nukes will fall from the sky onto the USA like rain. You will be grateful for NBC kit in such circumstances❗️Finally theres your government❗️If they do declare war on Russia, being under 60 you would be immediately conscripted into the forces, either that or prison. Just something else you should consider. Anyway Good luck & Stay Safe.

I actually have nbc kit however at the time of this video that wasn't really on anyone's mind, and my kit is evolving constantly. No one possesses the ability to carry everything they need to survive indefinitely, not to mention your preparing for the scenario(s) you expect the most. If there is an event of any kind that would validate using such supplies I would highly doubt all wild game would be gone in 6 weeks, more like 80-90% of people would be gone in 6 weeks. Russia would be more likely to use emp before nukes unless someone else initiated it first, of course we all have our own ideas of what might happen. I can tell you my newest iteration of kit includes gen 3 nightvision which drastically changes the game, but good job noticing there was no cbrn specific equipment in this load out. Also my kit is what I assume I will need, I live in an extremely low risk area for nuclear attack but who knows how things will go or turn out. Thanks for watching and maybe I'll do an updated video showing my current setup. 👍

@@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548 Hello again, & thank you for your reply. I just want to make this clear, its NOT I, saying all this stuff about a Nuclear attack, food disappearance etc. This comes from supposed "Experts" on whatever subject mentioned. I only mentioned the NBC stuff as after seeing all your hard work in preparing the bag in the first place, I didn't want you to be left unprepared for something as important as a Nuclear War. I never looked at when the vid was made tbh. I should have done that❗️On that subject, I hope more than you know, this NEVER happens, however Joe Biden and Co are doing their level best to find a way into a full blown war with Russia. Anyway, Ive heard all this 'Im in a very low area for the possibility of a Nuclear Attack. Thats why I said look into it, as no one, and I do mean NO ONE would be safe from it. You cant outrun the wind, even if a nuclear warhead of a low yield was to drop 200 miles away from you, the fall out could and would still be deadly if the wind just happened to be blowing in your direction. Again I hope this will never happen, but you obviously prepare against any and all disasters. Anyway I'm very happy you have NBC kit, and please dont think I was being obnoxious by saying what I said. It was said with the greatest care for you. Finally I did enjoy watching your video and will now watch more of them. So Take care and good luck.👍🏼

I try to prepare as best as I can for as much as I can lol but as you know thats not the easiest thing to do, ive heard those stats as well some I agree with and some I dont, but your right about the fallout its all about whats used, where, and wind/weather etc. I hope we never need things like these but I can't see any way out of it, I fear its when not if and the clock is ticking......not long left now. Make every day count.........

@@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548 Sadly I think you're right. And when it happens it's not going to be like some movie or video, like Im sure most people think. Thats why I was so interested in your video. War is unimaginable horror, a Nuclear War is just unimaginable. And even though you are prepared well, I still hope it never happens. Anyway please stay safe & take good care.
