“Hashtag” Member Bugoy Cariño Breaks His Silence Over Pregnancy Rumors
The media has been a source of all types of frenzies nowadays. Our news has been diluted from “things that should be relevant” to “could be relevant to many”. The quality of reports and issues has been compromised nonstop to sell news and some of them are not even noteworthy to begin with.
People have a fascinating way to sensationalize practically almost anything. Not all, but most media, has gone so good in finding a loophole that could create a controversy that they can put out there. It also doesn’t help that most people patronize and even circulate all kinds of issues without having the vigilance to check their facts. Really, among the many concerns being brought up on a daily basis, which ones are truly significant?
The showbiz industry has been a clutter of all kinds of biased and misleading information, sad to say. This kind of reveal is not something new to the public. In fact, many people know about the fancy love items and couple-like pairs that seem to be believable on-cam but not true at all in real life. In other words, a big chunk of the audience knows that many of what the media is feeding them are mostly fabricated. But the irony is that, they still buy it nonetheless.
Bugoy Cariño is a rising teen star that first got his spotlight in the talent reality show in ABS-CBN called Star Circle Quest. He was one of the many aspiring teens who braved the cameras and auditioned for a chance in the entertainment industry. Lucky for him, he won the heart of the judges and the public as well. From there, he did several shows and showcased his talent from singing, dancing, and acting. Directors commended him for his acting skills especially in a role that he played in TV drama “Maalaala Mo Kaya?”
Lately, Bugoy hasn’t been present much in the screen. This let to speculations about his absence and as the frenzy would go, people started to point it out to his current girlfriend, volleyball star Ej Laure. Ej plays for the UST women’s volleyball team. Recently, she herself hasn’t been around much in the limelight.
Due to their “missing in action” status, the media and public alike have formed a conclusion that Ej might be pregnant and the two are in hiding because of this one. How predictable of some people to think this way. You go missing and suddenly, to your surprise, you are labeled as pregnant.
Both Bugoy and Ej haven’t released their side on this story, something that made many even more curious and quick to judge that it’s true! But the issue was finally put to rest when Bugoy tweeted his side of the matter. In a sarcastic way, he tweeted that he will just go on and laugh at this issue. In other words, it’s not true.
