This was the first video game I played at 5 years old. At 30+ this was the game that started this crazy journey of videogames fandom and appreciation that has been lost at this point with most my age.
I remember my mom renting this game from Blockbuster back in 1997. For a game that came late in the Genesis life, one would expect this game to be more impressive looking
Omg me too. 25 years later and I finally discover how to get past it. I never knew you could get kicked into the air or needed to blow the holes in the ground. I just saw the flashing items behind me and thought my game had glitched as I couldn't pick them up. Also all that stuff underground looks complicated as fuck, even as an adult. No chance as a little kid I could have figured all that out.

Don't know who this game is aimed for. But if it's for kids why the hell make it so fricking encrypted. This game doesn't even have nostalgia value for me at this point, surely it's not a "bad" game, but not a good one either, for me personally it just bring back some awful memories. I still remember one afternoon during summer break 6-year-old me sat in front of the TV set with my 7-year-old cousin. We were allowed a whole afternoon to play video game and that was a rarity for us at that time. My uncle actually rented this game for us. 'cause sure, a Looney Tunes action game surely can keep the kids entertained for a whole afternoon, and I don't blame him for thinking that way. we were both hyped for this game even before lunch. And keep in mind this game was the *only* game we had that afternoon. we actually got to play it. For a kids game this game is just ridiculously encrypted and hard. The mazes are so zoomed in we can't remember where we were, where each objective was, and what we were supposed to do. Let alone there was time limit for everything, giving you even less time to figure out things. Take the bull level as an example, for a long time I thought you were supposed to drop the dynamite on the bull (which is the most straightforward strategy for an action game) but only ended up getting hit. And we thought we just didn't land on the right spot and kept trying and trying. Only by accident did we blow up a rabbit hole, and the dimly lit zoomed in underground maze just made us even more confused. After 1 hour or so we already got frustrated and we could just turn it off and went to play lego or something but we simply couldn't because as I mentioned before it was a rare thing for us to have the chance to have a whole TV for ourselves to play video game for an afternoon. As a result, we were gravely frustrated and disappointed by this game but at the same we just couldn't let it go so we kept playing it even though we couldn't figure out what to do. (We did beat the duck hunt one eventually and I vividly remember it wasn't rewarding at all, just repetitive and exhausting) Like I mentioned before this game does not qualify as bad but as a game that is probably aimed at children it surely has some interesting design choices Oh and I don't even know there are more than 2 stages lol
@@Reinc oh we didn’t have a manual that day, just a cartridge. also back then non of the SEGA consoles were officially released in my country, so that cartridge was very likely to be a bootleg copy(that was a more chaotic time) , thus it probably doesn’t come with a manual in the first place. and even if it had a manual with it I don’t think that would help 6-year-old me, because if you cannot tell from my janky English already , English is not my first language, 6 year old me wouldn’t be able to read it anyway 😂 But just like i said before, this isn’t a bad game, my whole rant is just because I have some bad memories associated with it😂, totally subjective opinion
I have a vague recollection of playing this at my local barbershop as a kid and for some reason was convinced that it was Rabbit Rampage for the SNES until I actually saw the respective gameplay footage from each game.
Difference in passion vs profit. Anything is possible if you dream big enough. Except in dating. Going into dating with that mindset will catch you a charge. Going into that with a healthy mindset isn't even safe, you certainly can't go into it with the hopes and dreams mindset. Remember catch success, not a criminal charge. And just about anything is possible. You have a better chance of being a tech billionaire on your first try than a secure relationship with consequences and accountability for the decades to come.
I'm going to watch this whole thing I could not beat this game when I was a kid I could not figure out what to do I couldn't get past the first part I didn't understand it

As a non-english speaker, trying to figure this game out without knowing what the hell you were supposed to do was so difficult back then Also how did they get away with making the arabian level literally a ripoff of the Aladdin game, and then once again with the castle level and Prince of Persia?
