Bugs Bunny is such a fave! I am old, I grew up on Milton Berle and Flip Wilson’s Geraldine. On regular television, and perfectly acceptable to my conservative parents. But if I was going to make a drag queen doll of a specific queen, I would go with our local Dieta Pepsi, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

When I was younger, I used to watch Looney Tunes and always saw Bugs doing drag. I then asked my dad why Bugs dressed like a girl sometimes and that's when my dad explained drag to me. So Bugs had also introduced me to drag even though I didn't know what it was.

I'm pretty sure that design is from the end of What's Cookin', Doc! Bugs spends the evening at the oscars (back when it was a dinner show) impersonating Warner Bros celebrities and being snubbed for category after category, lodging a complaint each time. At the very end, he's snubbed for Best Actor and is thrown out onto a catering tray of salad, resulting in the costume. He breaks his pose when he is beaned in the head with a special Bunny-shaped oscar. This oscar was later made out of pewter in real life and given out at an annual awards event held internally within Warner Bros Records!
I loved the Bugs Bunny cartoons. Bugs was a trailblazer before anyone realized it. Still like watching the Looney Toons when I find them. Awesome doll.
I love this idea and I loved Kyro's version when he did it too. I never even thought about Bugs Bunny being a drag queen until I was older but it's so funny how we didn't even think anything of it as kids but then before RuPaul's Drag Race there was such a stigmatism about anyone who did drag. "Glamourous and fashionable salad" lol words I never thought I would hear. The dress was the right choice, it looks so good. That's the way sing through the frustration hehe, I do that too. I love how she came out, she is stunny!
My fav drag queen is Pabllo Vittar, a brazilian queen. She's AMAZING! I also love Glória Groove, who's also a brazilian queen. I highly recommend listening to their songs, they are really talented!

Rpdr was one of the reasons i started doing drag! I love makeup so much and i am queer, it gives me all the gender expression i always wanted but never had the courage! I would recommend watching dragula too, but it's not everyone cup of tea, it's a drag competition show too, with so much more representation! But it can be very gory and nasty sometimes since it is a horror based competition show, if you love horror, and love drag the show is perfect for you, and the first season is free on RU-vid! Also as a Brazilian i am so glad you guys picked this Carmen Miranda-esque look 😭😭 I feel double represented right now !!!

This look bugs wear was inspired by a very famous singer and actress in the United States called Carmem Miranda. Her most iconic look is her wearing a lot of fruits on her head and a very bright red lipstick, so bugs wear a lot of vegetables to imitate her. She was a representation of the Brazilian culture around the world, but ironically she was Portuguese and lived most of her life in the United States

I think adding some lop ears tucked in under the hair would look super cute too and really make it clear it's meant to be Bugs Bunny. But it's a great doll either way.

The hair looks like alpaca which sometimes has a natural wave. Would explain why it went wavy when you put water on it as it’s usually prepped for wefts with a flatiron. You may have been better to use hairspray and styling gel as it’s a natural fiber. Still came out really cute! 😍
Well, that's it! Beautiful, properly enlarged hips! Many masters increase the doll's hips so that they look like tied pads. And you have just beautifully, naturally turned out!

I love looney toons I always have ever since I was a little girl. And it’s so funny to me how older people are like “men were men in our tv shows. We never had to see this” and literally bugs bunny was doing it before anyone else 😆
Thank you for mentioning the fact Bugs Bunny's drag is mostly comedic and times have changed!!! Really important to know that even if he was and is important for representation the portrayal was not good and was mostly comedic
