I am disabled and have always loved log flumes. I became disabled due to a medialc condition that changed my life 4 years ago. Before all of that I vivisted loads of theme parks and the log flume was always my favourite ride. I watch videos like this so I get the feeling as if I'm on it as I know now that I will never be able to ride in one again, unless they develope one suitable for people in wheelchairs. Who knows what might happen in the future. Thank you for posting your video. x
eh the best Flume rides I've ridden were Splash Mountain, the OLD BB WWR (when the staues still talked) Journey to Atlantes, and my first Power Serge.I hope Fiesta Texas still has that among it's few gems in rides. Feiter Mause, the Wagon Wheel and Plotriguest, just to name a few from the 100's I've ridden back then.
This has given me so many memories... When I was around 8-9 parents would take me and my brother here to come and ride it. (Other attractions as well) The first time I rode on it I was so scared... I'm going back soon to relive all my childhood moments.
MEH, it's not the same as it was back when it was first built the statues talked and moved slightly quoting from the rides themed Cartoon; Nighty Knight Bugs. so I'm rather sad but gonna remove my rose tinted glasses and enjoy the remakes of thins I enjoyed back in the 90's and 'maybe' enjoy them more
All of the props used in this ride were inspired by Bugs Bunny's only academy award winning 1958 cartoon "Knighty Knight Bugs". It's shown currently on CN's Boomerang.
Omg , I hated when my mom forced me to go on this ride when i was like 7 -8 , theres was only a bar to hold on... i always had the feeling i would slip of the ride so i would hold on to my moms arms, (don,t judge i was young back then)
Same thing happened to me! 😂 I was on a school trip and some of the teachers forced all the group to go on this ride. Some of us didn’t even know what this ride was about until it was too late. I remember I was sitting beside my best friend who back then suffered from a heart disease, he was yellow and pale the whole ride, we were all worried of him but nothing worse happened.
nice new version of the traditional log flume rides..more modern because the other flume rides in other six flags parks were built in the 70s..this is a cool splash ride
I love this ride! But it really needs an update/refurbishment and they should add safety straps, I don't really mind not having them, but I seen alot of people getting really nervous and anxious because of not having them, including some family members
I love this ride too and the thrill of it. (Although it feels unsafe.) But no one will fall because of gravity. (i’m guessing here.) But there is deep placements in front of the cart to place your legs so you can hold on tight with the force of your legs and your arms gripping (really tightly) onto the bar they give you. I’m going back to fiesta texas on august and plan on raising my hands just for the fun of it. I don’t think there should be any accidents since people can’t really fall out due to their weight pulling them down on their seat while going down. Just don’t stand while on it. That’s why there’s workers at the top. Lol.
Wow! I was watching this because it says the height requirement say only 36 inches. My 3 year old is about that height and I wouldn’t trust her getting on this.
@@pocahontas4583 that is just called airtime no need to worry it happens a lot such as in Splash Mountain or Rollercoasters. But if you don't it's okay, just wanted you to know that.
Man I had so much memories when I was 5-6 me and my family went to six flags the only thing I ride everyday. BUGSBUNNY j used to like splash mountain more in Disney but I was sad that it is replace now this is my favorite one left
For those commenting about the last drop and that there’s only a bar to hold on, just straighten your legs and tighten them as much as you can push your legs to the front and you won’t fall out
The line is awful because of the misty aroma of pee. The whole line just smelled like pee and I honestly almost left because I didn't think it was worth it
My favortie ride since I was a kid, rode first when I was 8 years old and here I am 27 years old and still enjoy it lol I hope this pandemic lets off soon during summer cause I was looking forward to going back again.
Oh god... I went on this ride during a choir trip and oh my... I sat in the front seat of the log and got DRENCHED with water. My purse, my jacket, my pants, _everything_! It was a miracle that my shoes dried at the end of the day!
I rode this when I was 8 or 9 and I thought I could handle it but I didn’t think it was this intense I felt like I was going to fly off on the last drop
i went on that ride before and we crashed because one boat had stopped and the one behind it kept on going and the boat went over it and was sticking up in the air so they had to rescue us since my sister hit her nose we had to go to the first aid
I was 7 or 6 when I went on this ride I just thought it was a haunted house thingy but then When I got on the ride I was like okay alright this is cool and when I got on I realized there were no seatbelts I wasnt scared at all I did not scream at all on this whole ride But that last drop scared the crap outta me and I wasnt screaming I was just waiting for the ride to end.
I’ve been on it before. My cousin and I went on it together😂 it was actually pretty fun and kinda scary at the same time! Whoever goes there, make sure you go on it💞 it also need an update... I think it should have safety straps because it only has bars.... idk that’s my opinion😭😂💔
I’m sad they stopped taking pictures of us going down the steep drop. I went during july 1st and was excited to see my picture until I saw the stand closed. 😕 It’s a really nice ride though, the first drop is really inviting and then it breaks your trust with the steep drop. I love it though, I recommend on telling your small siblings to ride and watch how scared they are after the drop. 😁 (Also they tell you to keep all your belonging so matter what you take or where you put it, it will get wet.)
I remember going on this ride with my mom and little sister and the wait was usually almost 2 hours. Soooo if you ever think about going on this ride be prepared to WAIT
I went on that one and almost fell out because there's no things to hold you you have to hold your self and when there where goin down I went goin up and almost fell out but then I hold one rlly tight
took my son year old son on this, and at the end of the ride I was sitting on my son because there were no seat belts, I honestly thought he was going to fall
i cantt to go to six flags fiesta texas in 3-2 weeks with my friend !! im sure to have so fun!!!thanks for the videos they are giving me an idea of how six flags will be!!! ps first time going!!!
I'M GONNA BE THERE IN 8 DAYS SOOOO XCITED!!!!! I hope when i get on this ride that the people ride that go on with me n my sis n cousins are as crazy as me even though im not scared i still like to scream my head off just 4 fun lol :)
this is one of the first "rollercoasters" i ever rode (i call it a rollercoaster but i guess its not idk) and i can honestly say that its the scariest. It goes up so high and sometimes the water seems to fill it up so much and since, at times, theres no track it feels like the log is about to fall right out. idk why i continue riding it lol
i go on this ride every time i come to six flags.when me and my family go on this ride my arms are up on the last drop and my mom,dad and sister scream as if they are on the movie friday the 13 :p lol
the only reason that I don’t recommend any kids ride this or anyone is because when I rode this they had no type of protection. It felt like I was a bout to fall out the ride on that last drop.
Me and my friend went on this one and at the final huge drop he said "YOU CANT DO THIS TO ME"he's 10 and then when it was over he started screaming and tearing up,forgo reason
