Carrie: you'll perhaps be pleased to know that while it is an extremely late-game bugsnak, there is, in fact, a coffee one.

I guess it's time to talk about Bugsnax! Most of you probably already know this but just in case there's a few people out there who don't: 1. Bugsnax has a theme song! It's called "It's Bugsnax!" it's very cute and catchy, i highly recommend you give it a listen. 2. The song is performed (and i presume also written and composed by) Kero Kero Bonito, which is a band that is probably best known for their song "Flamingo". I also recommend you go and give them a listen too.

Carrie was talking about how these characters have great cartoony voices, but I feel the same about our gamer duo here! The sound of their voices and how they vibe together charmed me instantly! Imma subscribe and stick around! 💜💜💜

I'm really enjoying all the tonal clash in this game. Dan mentioned the Pokemon-style "it's cute but with Unfortunate Implications" thing with the bugsnax but, if that opening sequence had featured humanlike characters, we would unquestionably see it as the setup to a horror game. I'm really into it. Nice to be back into a regular Sunday series again!

For those that doubt it, people DO eat Pokémon, remember Farfetch'd, they also eat parts of Pokémon like Slowpoke tails or the skin of Appletun back.

I do think my playthrough of Bugsnax was made easier by my preschooler demanding I catch and devour every Bugsnak on sight

It's episode one and Carrie is already reeling from the horrifying ethical implications of this game. Perfect. >:)

Okay, I'm not going to spoil anything, because I LOVE this game, but I strongly suggest doing ALL the sidequests. They're important to the story, they can lead you to rare bugsnax, and the DLC will assume you've already completed them. It's worth it, and you'll be told before you get to the point of no return, but this is definitely a game where sidequests MATTER!

This is one of my favorite games from recent years, and having Carrie on for the ride will make an amazing playthrough even better! Can't wait to re-experience this through the eyes of some of my favorite creators! Also, look up the VA list, it's ALL top-tier VAs. I didn't expect them to pull voices like Cristina Valenzuela for just 1 snack. I assume they all had a blast XD
