I have to say I really like Beffica and Cromdo, even though they seem rather unpopular in the fandom (people like Cromdo a bit more but only because he sounds like Danny DeVito hah). Yeah, they're assholes at the start, but both of them kinda have that whole "ONIONS HAVE LAYERS" deal going on. Beffica's a show biz journalist, her compulsion with digging up dirt from others probably stems from her workspace culture and how her old friends probably stabbed her in the back one way or another (it's hard to betray someone if they know everything about you, after all). Cromdo even says himself that his socioeconomic status didn't allow him the pleasure of pursuing his passions without fear of economic ruin. He's not scamming people for the pleasure of it, but old habits die hard. If anything both of them make it clear they don't actually enjoy being assholes to the rest of the cast. They're just unhealthy self-defense mechanisms they've built for themselves, and with the player's help, they're able to overcome them.
@@deeplyjuniper Every Grumpus has a story that you can relate. I personally loved Snorpy and Chandlo's stories. The Brains and the Brawn, the ideal "Perfect Couple", yet they both have some things to work out. Also, the fact that they both want to protect each other for different reasons is really sweet and understandable! Snorpy wants to protect Chandlo from the Grumpinati by not telling him everything, but him not being honest with Chandlo makes it hard for him. Chandlo wants to work out to be strong enough to defend and protect Snorpy, but he feels that it's never enough, no matter how hard he buffs up. In the end of the game, they both became closer than ever! Snorpy decides that he can open up and tell Chandlo everything, and Chandlo saw how strong Snorpy can be to hold his own! I love all of the Grumpuses, but Snorpy and Chandlo's at the top of my list! And the fact that Roger Craig Smith did the voice of Snorpington Fizzlebean makes it JUST as awesome! ^^
@CooperGal24 Is it bad that I relate to Floofty a lot? With the whole being into science and having trouble connecting with others, of course. I have not tried to cut off my head, and I definitely haven't actually cut off my leg and eaten it.
Thank you for making this video; I always enjoy watching cutscene movies! (Especially this game) However, you forgot about the dialog between the town grumps as they disaster prep. It's when you go with Eggabell to get Lizbert. Around here - 2:22:22 (not joking)
Filbo's got the short stick of life, but he's still trying his best to help everyone out! I think there's a little bit of Filbo Fiddlepie in all of us, and a piece of the other Grumpuses too! ^^
man, with the first 2 sentences from Chandler and Snorpy I knew there was more than just friendship between them. happy that there are games that show homosexuality (chandlo and snorpy, Eggabell and Lizbert) without any problem, and they are showing it as something "weird".
