Out of all the bugsnax playthroughs i've watched (and even with me playing through the game once to total completion) I never once realized that Eggabell's last line in the first video diary ("I'd fall to pieces without you") is HEAVY foreshadowing.

This game checks none of the boxes of what usually makes me interested in a game but for some reason it just sucked me in, this was so entertaining to watch

honestly i underestimated bugsnax, I wasn't very fond of the character design so i just decided to not watch gameplays or anything but now that i have, i gotta admit that i love it! the way the characters are fleshed out, each one has an unique personality and their own stories (which also connect with other's) and the twist was pretty unexpected too. the perfect example of don't judge a book (or game in this case) for it's cover!

I genuinely have an origin story of how bugsnax is a reoccurring term between me,my mom, and my sister. Backstory: So my mom and my sister share a PlayStation (kind of) my mom was looking for a game my sister could play. Whoop dee doo, she found bugsnax. She thought since it looked cute and was for kids, she’d buy it. (Oh boy.) She and my sister were in the living room playing bugsnax every day! (taking turns because my sister could barely work a ps4 controller. she was 5 at the time) and my mom was just INFO DUMPING everything that went on during her play through. I thought it was totally “lame” because I was a “big girl” who was 10 and didn’t play “baby” games. Well, whenever my mom would get to another section, she’d tell me and what not. At that point, I’d known everyone’s names and would have to figure out who was who and if they were or weren’t in a relationship. The only people I KNEW were in a relationship were snorpy and chandlo ONLY because I saw the “bro we’ve been dating for years” scene. Anyway, my mom tells me to stop playing whatever game I was on and to watch the ending of the game she was so hooked on. My sister was asleep so my mom recorded the whole experience. Then my trauma begins. My mom finds lizbert as the queen. I was deeply in shock as to what the heck was going on. Then the event of fighting the bugsnax which turns into Liz and egg saving everyone which BROKE me and kept me up for DAYS. I barely knew these characters and was so broken that they (possibly) died. I would bring it up to my mom every day until I got over it like “ what do you think their last words were? “ and “I can’t stop thinking about them.” Currently: I played the game myself to figure out everything correctly. I also dedicated a section of my drawing journal for bugsnax. Me and my mom joke about the lines they say or their body structure (snorpy). And see which family member would be which bugsnak. And then me, my mom, and my sister painted our favorite areas onto a random cardboard sheet that’s in my room.

I loved watching someone play this for the first time and always wanted to play but couldn’t until it was on switch and I loved it more then I thought I would
