You have to remember, there was a car rolling off that assembly line every minute so it’s normal for a few fit and finish issues to slip by quality control inspections at the assembly plant. those issues are usually caught either by the PDI or by the customer within the first 5,000 miles of ownership. This training video was to teach dealership technicians the common areas to look at in case they had a work order for the complaints in question.
@@digitalrailroader And yet Honda and Toyota could pump cars out even faster than this with far fewer if ANY quality control issues. So there is no excuse other than the typical combination of poor design by the engineers, cheap materials cut costs by the number crunchers, and lazy/poor assembly processes and procedures performed by the assembly line workers.
I have a 1992 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special with the 4.9 PFI engine. The brochure says the transmission has a””VISCOUS CONVERTER CLUTCH “” in the transmission. What is it and what does it look like?
I having a overheating problem with my 1992 Roadmaster. But no visible leaks. I changed the thermostat, fan clutch and flushed the cooling system. Temperature gauge still going to hot 😫 I need help badly
Please take an infrared thermometer and after the car idles for ten minutes start pointing the thermometer at the coolant hose running out the bottom of the radiator and then one running back into it along the top to verify if there is a temperature variance.
