Very good conversion of the figures, Ian. The end result is convincing. Great paintjob and so this has become a good sniper with observer and a nice set of Sturmpioniere. I wish you a nice weekend. Greetings, Joachim
Lovely work there. The flame thrower and the cloaks of the troops came out really nice. The cloaks definitely were a great add on. Small things went a long way. The rifleman with his elbow on a bag looked quite convincing specially due to the wash. The detail in his face was amazing
@@UKscalemodeller I have, I HAVE!!! And jolly good it was too.. may have to give that Citadel contrast paint a go.. could be quite useful, I suppose!! :) Not that I know if the local WarHammer shop is still open, since the pandemic I very rarely go to visit the city center (Yes, Colchester is now a city) and certainly not as regularly as I used to.. We don't have a proper model shop any more though, A1 Models that we visited when you were down here a few years ago has now closed. We have a HobbyCraft which is handy for Revell paints and Tamiya acrylics, but again that is on the opposite side of the tow.. erh, city. Haven't got used to calling Colchester a city yet, but C3 & his merry consort came the other week and revealed a signed paper stating the fact, so it must be true..
@@UKscalemodeller Yes, sadly so.. their kits were quite expensive towards the end, but it was handy for paints and accessories, like 'Evergreen' styrene and such.. Luckily the hobby shop in Clacton is still open, but I don't go there as often as I did, either.. Changed a lot of habits during the lockdown and pandemic.
I enjoyed the video, even though I'm not a wargamer. You could have gave the sniper, just the Mosin and don't bother with the optics, as some German snipers preferred to use it, because it had a better scope.
@@MrPolicekarim a few different types, even some antiques, such as WW1 SMLE and even a brown Bess musket (well a replica of course) it helps to know lots of history nut re-enactors. But in competition only air rifles and 22RL (Lithgow? I think, it's been 20 yrs since I was last in a club) at local ranges.
