Build a Better Iron Cross | Craps Strategy 

I like it! A small tweak or suggestion would be on the second hit instead of placing the 5, I suggest put $15 in the field and hop the 5 for $1 each for one roll. The 6&8 would net you $21, replace the field and hop bet, if the field hits then place the 5 for $15 and press and collect from that point on. As you have shown in previous videos, pressing the 5,6&8 up to 3 units greater than the field is the best ratio for the "Iron Cross" Thanks for rolling it out, Jeremy. You are the best.

This is fun-my tweak to it would be, instead of taking the 5 on the 2nd hit, take the field. Then your only hole is the 5 but you add 16 winning combinations-first field hit, use it to take the 5 and there’s your cross

I tried this strategy with just a 300 dollar bye in. It started rough. But the 6 and 8 were hitting when I was under 100. It kept me in long enough to finish with a $185 profit in under 2 and a half hours. I did my own tweaks by pressing the 5,6 and 8 when I was able to.

I like a $125 DP bet. Then $110 iron cross after the point hits. If the point hits, I leave the DP off until the shooter hits their 7 to cap the most I can lose on one shooter.

Any crap strategy that regress or pull bets of the table after 3-4rolls is a good strategy. U lose most of your money at craps, us usually the 2nd or 3rd rolls a 7. Way way more common that finding a 8+ roll shooter.

Great video! I watched a lot of your videos, and this is the first one that really seems like a good strategy. I don’t know if it’s a New England thing, but I never see long rollers around here. These seas are choppy!😀

I tweaked this a little. Still start with $30 6 & 8 but first hit I come down to $12 each and go $5 on 5 and field. That puts me at + $1. Every few hits on the field I will press a box #, starting with the 5. Seems to work.

I'd be tempted to place and work the 6/8 on the comeout, cuz you have a better chance at either than Big Red and if they hit then you're already almost even if there's PSO

I like the idea of regressing down to the Iron Cross. I think I would personally cover more numbers at the start so I’m not waiting for the 6 or 8 - of course the downside being losing all bets if the 7 comes 😂

That was an interesting strategy, much better than most.

I would only suggest playing this on a $10 table. That way, you can place $10 on the field, and each roll would yield a net of $10 or $11

I like the $1 investment after one hit…but waiting for the 6 or 8 to get started can be difficult, especially if you see all the other numbers rolling while you are waiting 😁 - thanks for the rollout Jeremy ✅

This is why I feel it's MUCH BETTER to just START with the Iron Cross with $25 on the number 5 and $30 each on 6 and 8, and $15 in the field, and just go for 4 hits and then turn OFF your bets, and just do this EVERY time after a point is established, and I GUARANTEE you will be MORE successful and will probably finalize with a decent profit at the END of your session!!!

I do something similar...except i work bets and on first hit move 15 to field and rack 20... then on first two field hits get 5 to 25 ..or one hit on 6 or 8 and make 5 ..20

I like it but I feel it should be a 3 to 1 ratio for the iron cross to be worth it. 1 to 1 is tough , Thoughts?

All that gambling for such a small profit...My experience as a veteran player ( ONLY CRAPS ) ls, if a player wants to experience the Iron Cross, make the full Iron Cross bet right away...Win 110 then go 110 inside & hedge with a lay 10, now take your profit, go to your strategy that makes you feel comfortable.🙂.........🎲Color Up, great videos🎲 🌴🎨

I played the old version yesterday, on the machine with the dice in the cage. I started with a bank roll of $200, after what seemed like maybe 15-20 min I cashed out with $308.

Any thoughts to funding the Field before the 5? You don't get the extra $ 6 if the 5 hits but you might hit the Field number before a 5.

You definitely should throw 15 in the field from the start along with your 60 then wait for another hit or two before getting the other box number

Not bad. I'd probably regress to $12 on 6 and 8 or even $6 on them to lock in more profit after 1 hit.

You should try my strategy. Start with $160 across. Anytime a 6 or 8 hit collect. Do a press-collect with the 5 and 9, on the press it’s a full press divided evenly between the 5 and 9 might have to drop $5 the first time to even it out. Finally for the 4 and 10 do a 2 presses then collect with the same kind of presses as the 5/9, after you collect press then collect after that collect; collect on every 4 or 10. It’s a high risk high reward strategy that pays off pretty well. I’ve been playing it for a while and have converted some people at my local casino to it as well. I’ve seen some people get to a certain level and press the 6/8 up to $120 each because they are collecting $600+ on either the 4/10.

Why or where does the term "Make my 6 and 8 "look like $18"? Aren't you actually MAKING your bet $18? That just seems like a funny term as if it was a "fake" bet. This is a good strategy - I like it. Winning $52 in 30 minutes is better than losing money.

This is NOT a good idea for a " Better " Iron Cross because in order for the iron cross to at LEAST be EFFECTIVE, every time you roll the dice you SHOULD be able to at LEAST collect the table MINIMUM for every roll of the dice for every number EXCEPT the BAD number 7!!! So, here is what I will suggest to you for a " Better " Iron Cross: For a $15 table, set up $25 on the number 5, and $30 each on the numbers 6 an 8, and have $15 of the Field bet. anytime an Iron Cross number hits for the 3rd time - An Iron Cross number would be ONLY the numbers 5,6 or 8 - then press it for double that amount - $50 for the number 5 and $60 for the numbers 6 and 8. And once ALL of the Iron Cross numbers are double, THEN you can press the Field bet to $30, so you can make more money, and then keep doing this if you want to just leave your bets up until the 7 shows. OR, you can just try for a MAXIMUM of 6 or 7 rolls and then call your bets OFF until the shooter either sevens-out or makes their point, so you can PRESERVE your Iron Cross money for the next shooter or next point with the same shooter.

Love the iron cross, even though it’s a looser.
