Late reply. But think about it like this. A cinder block building can withstand more than the stick building and will last longer & through more weather. Huge plus if you are in a cold state

What was the cost? I would like a garage to turn into a living space later.

In the long run it saves money lees maintenance stands up much longer the Pyramids are not built of wood.
