I building a home cockpit too! and when you have first started you will never give up! it can happend that your motivation is not up and then you dont build! but as soon you watch a cockip video you get the motivation back and begin to build again! and yes this take long time!
That is amazing. There are a lot of us serious Flight simmers out there, that would pay a respectable price for you to build this set up for them. Respectable price as in taking in account on the time you spend having to build it, parts etc It would definitely be worth the asking price
wow.. $20,000 you should spend that towards becoming a real pilot!! :) This cockpit is amazing though, I've always wanted one just like this. Excellent work!!
@sickfinds: Hi, thank you! Well we spend maybe around 20,000 USD. But there are no plans, and it was hard to build it. Many hundreds hour of work. Every cockpit it a unique one. There are some company's who sell complete homecockpits. But expensive! And its sometimes more fun to build than fly. There are always problems to solve, so its better you know how its build. nils... I watch all your videos. My son and I watched this project (737 cockpit) amazed at the detail and work that you put into it. Thanks for sharing! A forward thinking person that I would like to someday meet.
Noticeable things in this and pretty much every simulator are those chairs. It would be great with real pilot seats :D. Well I think car seats are good as well.
beautiful setup..i esp love the picture with only the panel lights on -surreal ..i wanted to know one thing - the ADI, switch panel, throttle quadrant, the airspeed indicator etc etc - are they like replicas that you bought from somewhere and connected to work with FSX or are they ones that actually go into the real plane itself? i was always curious about where people buy/get these components from, which seem like they have been rooted out from the real cockpit.
This is very nice. How much to fly you out to do mine? Too bad I bet it woule be a pretty bit more to have a HUD drop down also. That is the best build it yourself I have seen. How long did it take to make this and what does it look like now? Any upgrades?
@BigBearHuskyMusher .:Hello, the left and right are 19" Widescreen. The center one is a 17" 4:3 screen with removed case. Then is there a 22" Widescreen Touchscreen with removed case for the CDU. Greets
must be lots of fun but personally I would prefer a similar quality SIM for something like a Twin Otter or Beaver...something more fun to fly. I wonder if something like that exists...even more fun if it was a Float plane SIM.
@CJDA380 Vielen Dank.
Hi, we build this for "fun". We are interested in airplanes. We played Microsoft flight Simulator since the first version. It took about 2 years until now. Still not finished. Check our Blog, Link is in the description. Cheers
jupppiiii... der Schubregler ist da ! ! ! ! Habs schon am Wochenende im Blog gelesen ! ! :-))))) Ich freue mich schon auf Euren ersten Takeoff im kompletten Cockpit.... Weiter so ! ! Grüsse Korny
hey i gotta say this is pretty sweet, and looks like fun to build, im not crazy enuf to do it haha anyways how much did the autopilot/MCP cost you? thats what im looking into for my sim at the moment, and the music reminded me of sim city lol
Hello. Thank you very much. Well it takes a lot of work. We spand many hundreds hours to build it, and still build... Check out our Blog in the description for latest news and pictures. I also uploaded a few new videos lately. Just check my uploads. Greets Nils
Hi This looks nice, I see you have weather radar in the ND display. I do not have it, I need to find out how this works. Very nice website you have, I have not seen it before today Tore
AMAZING !!!! 1. @ 1.05 How did you make that ??? @0.37 Did you use stickers ??? Please could you send a step by step guide by PM ??? That would be sooo useful !!!! I will sub straight away !!! Thanks, Luke
SierraFox5418 The advantage of having a 737 cockpit is that you can more realistically fly a 737. Do you think he made a 737 cockpit so that he could fly an Airbus?
how did you made them? im thinking of modifying a joystick and put in on the floor then have a pole from the joystick that goes up to a yoke. then it will create a realistic feeling. im not that good at explaining sorry, im from sweden. hope you got some ide what i meant :)
Hi there! According to your webiste 6 computers were used. Now what are the specs of the other computers? Do they have to be nice or just functional? Thank you for your help! Cheers
Sa t'ajouter la peau du cult ce mec est ingénieur aubligee un amateurs n'aura pas fait pareil c'est exelent bravo j'adorais pouvoir en construire un simulateur de vol
mostly due to the fact that sim parts for the aircraft are abundant. Its nearly impossible to find realistic autopilots for a plane like a CRJ 700 or MD80
I want to do the same setup, but I don't know the measurements for the table... where did you get them? ... I have to stick with the saitek setup... the real thing is too much cash. lol
Hi. They don`t have to be fast. Pentium 4 is enough to running "Project Magenta" and other small Addons. Only one have to be super where FSX runs on it. Greets
Sali nils eine frage hadt du noch das poster bei 0.40seckunden?für das mip panel wenn ja könntest du mir das eventuell geben? Vielen dank würde auch etwas dran zahlen
