ive learned so much about myself recently, and honestly its overwhelming. but i cant thank this community enough for helping me with finding myself and supporting me, i love you all

A tip for people who would want a more permanent den situation :: I personally made my den in my closet, I only have a few things hanging up (which have been pushed to the opposite direction) and a bucket w most of my stuffies. I have a bean bag chair, throw pillows, stuffies, and my blankets. There aren't any outlets so I have fake lanterns hanging up. Bunk beds are also a cool alternative, you can put blankets around the bottom and tuck them under the top mattress, thats how it is at my grandparents

I love the den!! Mine is much smaller. Since my therian type really nest in trees or hang out in them more I have mine really tall. But small. I love it.

After watching this, I might just have to redo my den! My den is currently *v e r y* tiny, and very uncomfortable. And it doesn't help when my cat keeps standing on the roof blanket because she thinks it won't fall.

I'm definitely doing this! I like to use my plushes as prey or young. It make it more realistic

My bed is basically my den , I have a loft bed but I sleep underneath I have led lights and a whole lot of toys I also added blankets as curtains on the open side.

i remember when i made my first den! I’ve always loved to burrow so mine always are in deep darkness. i’m glad you have one your really like it looks wonderful!

Made a den while watching this! I used old broomsticks and put them on each corner of my bed, I put a sheet for a roof and blankets on each sides for walls and it's verrry comfy

You could add/use a box fan to help circulate the warm air around and out of you den. Here in Michigan (US) it can get really hot during the summer months. So I create what I call a wind tunnel. Basically I hang a large bed sheet over me couch/bed so that the far end of my couch, where the fan is located. It is hung over a few supports, (and tied) and the other end is sort of tied down, at the other end of the couch. (Think sloping side of a tent) So when the fan is on it gets funneled down the inside of the sheet, and inflates it. (Think like when they inflate a hot air balloon.) I know that probably makes no sense how I'm describing it... Sorry... 😅 I tend to have a half den, half nest myself... I'm kind of a odd mix of many different Kin/Kith types. And like feeling cozy, but also not cramped or entirely enclosed. I love being able to feel a breeze, while nestled down in my comfy spot. That said I wanted to say Hi Thorn! I only recently came upon your channel. And wanted to thank you for helping me to learn about Therians, and what it means to be one. Being a newly awakened Therian *sort of...* (I always knew, just didn't know what it was called) 😅 I always referred to myself as a Shifter, as I didn't know how else to describe it. Or what to call it... As I shift between many different forms and kinds. You'll have to forgive me as I'm still trying to figure out what kind of Therian I would be considered. ie: Poly or something else. I have many Kin (and sometimes Kith) types which tend to morph in and out of each other. (depending on my mood, situation, or environment) And sometimes they'll be partial shifts rather than full ones. (meaning I retain my human form, but will experience phantom "limb" ie: (tail, wings, ears, claws and fangs) shifting. But also have the head of one of my main Kin types (Raven) It's kinda hard to explain... I also have at least 2 forms I tend to shift between on a regular basis. My everyday "Raven" form, which tends to be a mix of Raven, Fox and Black Panther... Which tends to retain a human form. (think Were creature, with mixed parts. For lack of better terms) And my "Dracoline" or as I describe it to non Therians when I get angry, My going "angry Werewolf" form. Which is basically a Werewolf/Dragon mix, that tends to only happen when I'm in a state of high emotions (Anger, fear, stress, irritation, or feeling threatened) though it does sometimes happen when I'm being lazy laying around in my den with my fur/feather babies, while watching tv, playing video games, or listening to music. (Laided back mama wolf with her "cubs" I guess 😅 I don't know. Lol! Anyways... Sorry again if that is confusing. I really don't know how else to explain it. It's why I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly what kind of Therian I'd be considered. I've always experienced shifts. (phantom, aura, perception,) I've even on a few odd occasions experienced a duo shift, where I was shifted into my Raven form, and had a Aura shift of my Dracoline form surround me, protectively when someone (for example) in a truck came up in a threatening manner. Trying to get me to get in their truck. *Was not a good situation* It's very rare, but it's happened enough times. That I've come to think of it almost like having "spidey senses"... A more protective version of having a 6th sense. That tends to happen when someone, or thing is giving off bad, dangerous vibes. I don't know if that makes sense, or if that's normal at all. ??? I don't know. As I said I'm still trying to figure everything out. But thanks to you, I've learned quite a bit, and hope to continue learning and growing as a Therian. ^,...,^

I made my den inside my bed, and I want to wait till I find a snow hill to dig in and hang out in :)

Something I learned from making my first den way back (In my living-room as well) was that it made me feel so much more calm. I actually got a lot of stress worked out while in it, and even had a nap with the cats (They joined me because it was like a big cat bed to them). Had my laptop up on a bin full of files, kept a section open behind the laptop so it could get airflow, and moved a table to be the entrance so that I had more assurance. All in all, I remember it being very close to what I envisioned, and I only recently learned it was pretty close to the shape and structure of my Theriotype's own den, minus the rocks and grass. I should make it again. Although, back at the time I had not met my Sweetheart so now I have to explain what I am doing to our living-room. (I only told them more recently, although it turns out they found out from my mom and brother, by accident when my brother was talking about a few things. I did not know if my Sweetheart would be weirded out by it, because even if they are accepting of a lot of other things, you never know what can be TOO MUCH to someone. Thankfully they fully accepted it and are trying to study up on this stuff to better understand me. Maybe they will discover they are an Alterhuman too, but even if they are not, I love them all the same.)

i remember when i was little, that i could always make a den like build, all of the time. i would take my bed and use the edge to stuff the blanket in, and then i would use my clothes' hangers to keep it at a slanted shape, like a tent. i would always go in there with my cat, now im being reminded of that.

I have made a permanent blanket fort in my room! It's not in the way of anything, and it is super comfy. I have a pink blanket for the roof and it gives the den a soft pink color when I turn on my lamp.

I don't know what den I'm supposed to have, but a cool dark cave with a nice warm nest inside sounds sooooo nice My room already fits that, and my bed has already been made into a nest, so I didn't really have to do anything =] I used to have a sign made of a single price of paper and some colored pencils taped to my room door that said "Den Sweet Den" on it I put it up when I was around 9 or so I think and took it down in late middle school early high school cause my brain called it cringe Now I really want it back, I think I'll make another =]
