September 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian destroyed most of our home's interior and much of our belongings. Jason, your videos gave me the confidence to start rebuilding since contractors were busy with other larger jobs, and the insurance paid nothing at all. My kitchen cabinets turned out remarkable! Thank you so much! Now I have done all the floors, drywall, painting, electrical and plumbing all myself. Keep the videos coming my friend. AT 72 years old - I can still learn new things.!

I am not a woodworker at all, but I find these vids very relaxing to watch in this year of horrible news events coming every other day. And who knows, some of it might stick in my brain and pop out when I need it years from now.

LoL. Well, I asked you about Dado stacks just a couple of days ago, and here in this video, I received a fully understandable demonstration of them. That's fan service! ;) I had actually seen other videos talk about them, but they were already installed, and the presenters were using stacks of wood as part of their sacrificial fence thus leading me to believe that those wood stacks, were Dado stacks. That's what I get for watching other videos... Great series! Thank you so much for your videos!

Great cabinet series! One possible tip I’m aware of thanks to Norm Abram and his New Yankee Workshop series. At 5:12, you mention the S and R marks on your boards help you keep the fit consistent in case your dado cuts are slightly off center. I remember Norm doing these cuts using a dado set up slightly narrower than the final desired width and setting the fence so that the cut ends up the right distance from the edge. Then, after passing it through once, he flips the board around and runs it through again. This way he always ends up with a dado that is the correct width, perfectly centered.
