about rating that book 3 stars at the start for remarkably bright creatures cos you didn't like on of the characters isn't that high-key unfair though? maybe the author intentionally made him/her unlikeable and being able to induce that feeling of not liking rather than indifference out of the reader is actually a plus? ik it's not that deep but this is my writer's side talking😂😂
