Build of the Week Season 12 - Episode 3 - Jousis' Tainted Pact Forbidden Rite Pathfinder 

I'm so happy this made it in. The most complicated and well-crafted build I've done. There's still a tiny bit of minmaxing to do, but nothing in the video is incorrect, and I can just update the forum guide.

When Jousis explained this idea that he had in POE podcast (Fated Connection), even Lighty and the other top players were like blank faced and surprised.. Now it's finally out... 😳

Let it also be known Jousis is a singer in a band and puts his songs in his build guides and they're really good.

Well it feels like this was a long time coming. Nice one Jousis - was great to hear you talk about the process for this one on the podcast a while back. Looks like the work paid off!

In 3.21 I worked on the exact same thing with all the same items except cospri's will and got to around 80-90% there... just couldn't figure out the last bit and also got too tired of working on this. Congratz Jousis for solving this!

If someone asks if poe is really that feature rich, just send him this video.

I actually did this exact setup last league but used the totem life expolde for max dot cap dmg. I have never felt so vindicated ever!

This game never stops to amaze me with nasty combinations.

This is what I love about Path of Exile and what keeps me playing the game. There are infinite ways to build a character. This is one of the coolest and most creative builds I've ever seen and it's builds like this that remind me just how unique and intricate the game is. I went Toxic Rain Ballista Pathfinder to Tornado Shot Deadeye MF to Poison Spark Pathfinder this league and while I had a phenomenal league in terms of currency (Made about 2 Mirrors total value, acquired my first Mageblood ever too which was a big goal for me this league) I felt unsatisfied with the builds I played. Not because they were bad builds, they are phenomenal builds but they lack creativity on my part. Most were copied gear piece by gear piece from someone else's builds. Going in to next league my goal is to explore the amazing creativity that the game has and learn crafting beyond the very basic level I know currently. Thank you Jousis for inspiring me to jump in to the endless creativity the game has to offer and thank you to the Path of Exile developers for making the game so infinitely creative in terms of how we can build our characters.

I love these series. Shoutout to Eben for doing these, his voice is very calm and soothing. Having Bex leave GGG must've been a hard task to fill in but he's more than suited for the job. I love series like these who give back to the community, Jousis is a legend amongst exiles.

Iam sitting Here i an awe, Not understanding whats going on. I Hear the words and they make Sense in my world of Poe, but whats was created is simply a masterpiece (at least from my Limited Perspektive). Thanks for this insane Show Case.

Another flavor of spellcasting loop. This guy did that even befora wardlop was a thing (and it was problably his idea too). When he showed that RF HEAL you, I was sold!

I was watching this without paying much attention, then I was like "huh, this build sounds pretty dank, who made it again?" - and OMG, it's jousis! Honestly just the combo of Tainted Pact + Divine Flesh to not take any damage from Righteous Fire / flame touched is already impressive enough.

Worth noting that before this video went live the build was incredibly affordable, with the only expensive piece being the shield and the wand, but the wand is win-more

man i had this specific exact idea in mind when i first saw tainted pact, but was never able to make it work in such a smooth way, i also thought vaal pact prevented regen from tainted pact but i guess not

I wanted to watch a playlist on Jousis Meme Builds, instead I found a build gem that hopefully will not die in the next league, because it is something I HAVE to try, and if it's the last thing I will do! Hell, how did I even miss this monstrous existence?!?

Aw man, this makes me want to play, but impossible at amazing peaks of 2fps, it gets so frustrating. Great build, as expected, from Jousis!

Almost invincible... I would like to see it perform on the type of maps I am doing. Map mods: reflect, 79% less recovery, -max resistances, monsters deal 30% extra damage, 200% as extra elemental, 65% less flask charges gained, no leech. Expedition mods: cant leech from monsters, enemies are immune to curses, 100% chance to avoid poison , chaos immunity, monsters slain provide no flask charges, monster's hits cannot be evaded, monsters owerwhelm 100% physical reduction, 100% chance to block with 85% max block chance, 30% chance to avoid hits, take 30% less damage, monsters penetrate resistances. Blue altar mods mods: 200% as extra elemental damage. GG. This is why I no longer play fancy builds, they dont work when you add in mods. You are forced to play boring builds with layers of defence, recovery and find a way to deal with enemy stupid high defences (max block, resistances, suppression with increased effect, immunities...). Just try to play ignite elementalist with 8 mod random maps and expedition. Chance to avoid elemental ailments can reach 90% with atlas and is relatively common. Expedition has ignite immunity which is rare, but there is a common mod; 100% chance to avoid ignites. As someone who likes Expedition, ignite is impossible to play. Same goes for pure bleed or poison builds. There is some serious issue with your mods. Those mods that eighter do nothing or kill your build. You can eighter evade it or play something that is able to do it all. The list of playable builds will drop quite a lot.
