Just heard from a friend who works up in Canada for Stellantis/Dodge. He's an engineer. Not sure how true it is, but he sent this to me, so take it for what it's worth: Compared to standard production engines of hellcat/redeye/demon, Dodge is going to drop one of its new 376 cubic inches (6.2 liters) Hellephant crate engines in the 7th final edition. It will come with a larger throttle body, a 3.02-inch supercharger pulley, valvetrain upgrades, enlarged main and head studs, billet main caps, upgrades bearings, pistons and connecting rods for more cylinder pressure and a fluid crank damper. C170 (C standing for cast iron block) is built to run on E85, which has an official output right now of “1,000 +” horsepower.

Tripwire most likely means it has a parachute due to the fact it’s going to run 150mph+ in the 1/4 per NHRA rules.

I believe this car will showcase their new direct connection catalog. I’m guessing everything, or most everything this car offers will be available for us “regular” hellcats owners to upgrade to through their catalog.

Man after all them Dissapointing sticker package cars I said this Last Call Better Be Spectacular. It looks like it will be Insane! The hints I got, Safety first...Maybe a Chute & other stuff will have a Crate too. Absolutely love your thoughts on this Mopar & you said something that I believe 100% we know what power our personal Hellcats have & the numbers add up to a very possible Bottom 9 second Mopar! 💪👍😉

I don’t know how everyone is missing the hint the first teased video is called Runnin Hyde, if you guys look into Jekyll and Hyde the character for dodge looks exactly like Hyde, and if you know Jekyll turns into Hyde which is a monster which could mean the old hellcats and demon are a symbol of Jekyll and Hyde is this new “monster” just a theory but nobody seems to know about the Jekyll and Hyde story , maybe it’ll be a Challenger SRT Jekyll or Challenger SRT Hyde.

Flares on the back only give it some old school feel so I would rock it. If this build ends up having CF wheels it will msrp at $170k.

I will say this...I like the flares on the rear. I plan on doing that for my Scat Pack stick, to put the 305s on the rear. (I have the pizza slicers) As far as the rest....at this point, I honestly dont know. 140mph? then 215...if this car is beyond Stage III then why bother with stage kits? I really dislike how theyre manufacturing exclusivity. Its not a gucci purse ffs. Let us buy the cars, and then in time we see which is rarer or whatnot. I say this owning very rare Mopars, but would have liked to order this. Instead, more and more we see this nonsense. I see in the coments below, and Im hoping it is a Stage III car (whcih was my guess way back when)...But it is getting a bit exhausting to be honest. Im burned out with all this hype stuff. PS Awesome car you got there. Color is the best one I think...but Im partial hehe

@@SpeedysGarage Its an old school mod..and I kind of like the front narrow body fender, with that reverse lip and Id like to keep that (even though the kit for widebody comes with the stamped fenders, which is nice...something you cant do on the quarters unless you cut and weld which isnt fun...I do worry how they would stick, not falling off etc, but I do need something for those bigger wheels that will jut out). The other stuff...I realize I may be wrong with my video...That Dodge will have found a way to put the Hellaphant in, and even top 1000HP. And with absolute sadism will say, "if you missed out on the...whatever its called, you can get the EV" As if that wont be seen as an insult. Irony is, that trying to make these cars exclusive, they will be a heck of a lot more common than my Super Stock, thats 1 of 1, and the same with my 1320 thats also 1 of 1. This could have been our generations Super Bird, but now...I cant help but look at it negatively. Some collector's toy, along with other snobby cars. (I have info that this is Stellantis' plan, to move upscale in pricing for eveything) That Zoolander meme comes to mind...
