Roman or ancient Greece similar architecture similar gods let's not kill the joke here guys. It is like I told a joke at a Star Trek convention full of Vulcans .
No it's just you being wrong in what you classify as a strawman. There are plenty of examples of cultural appropriation in regard to religion. Why do all the public relation work when adoption works? Heck , half of the Greek religion were old gods that fell out of cultural favor , the Norse pantheon also.Sometimes do to peaceful transition and some times when conquerors brought their gods with them. There is also examples of Christianity borrowing from other religions. How many pagan Gods were labeled demons , how many holidays were modified to include non Christian tradition . Pine trees are not a indigenous Christian Christmas tradition. What evidence do you have that Romans did any different from this normally observed practice ?
Anyone can build cool shit like this but most are to lazy, don't go outside anymore, to obsessed with Facebook and don't even know how to change a tire. Sometimes when I drive through a subdivision it's like a ghost town where people are layed up in the air conditioning Haha. All you need is a little imagination, rocks, concrete and some land. I would rather build something badass like this instead of just buying some bullshit gazebo. Just think of the possibilities if you had a creek to work with.
This fake when theirs a camera their in survival when the cameras off they go to creative but. No joke this is fake they pause the camera and the whole thing is filled with dirt it would take couple day probably to make that
This is my favorite build from you guys. It's an amazing place and it had to have taken you two a while to build. Also there's alot of hard work that went into this. Excellent job! Keep up the good work fellas.. Cheers
@@skyrisesenpaiii678 If you would add another story to this so called building, it would be about as stable as two big rocks stacked on each other very loosely glued with cement. A primitive mud cement, that is. Its just not happening.
you know: Earthquakes Will alwais be more dangerous the bigger the building is. So i just cant see someone terrified by a hut like construction. Maybe you should stop looking at it like it was a huuuge building and take more like a stylish survival hut . I just hate when people cant do something but can say some negative shit xD
@@InugamiR well i could do this. I make ash lime concrere from time to time and i own some land by a river to collect stones, ill tell you why i don't. ITS A GODDAMN DEATH TRAP. there is no load cacluation on the pillars, no arches to actually direct the load of the roof onto them. Homemade cement like this is brittle and likely to crumble under shock and the stones arent even hand picked, rotated and slotted tightly together. the foundation will wash out unevenly and the pillars will cause to crumble and kill anyone unlucky enough to sleep inside this 'Stylish survival hut'
A tiny building isnt magically safe if its small still thousands of pounds of rock falling 2m onto you. Youre safer in a fucking skyscraper, at least itll rock before it totally buckles

@@daronpopin9881 yeah but Rome had thousands upon thousands of citizens. If this was made in months by 2 men, Rome should've been made in minutes by 20,000 men
screw the computer. you really want to get the full and free experience of minecraft go out doors and use mother nature resources :P best part no creepers lol
Does anyone ever think who records them, or if they are brothers, or if they use the builds they make, or what they Do with the build, do you ever wonder if they live in a village or by them selves, or they have a family orrrrr... xD
they leave the buildings for someone who needs it. they filming they return to their 30 room mansion they bought with all the RU-vid money lol. Behind the camera is their lifted 4x4 Ferrari.
Wow, so many people missing the point commenting here. Guys, it says it right in the title: ANCIENT SKILLS. This is not supposed to be "well made" by today standards. It's amazing how people are so ready to diss on anything that obviously has needed so much effort for you to be entertained 10 minutes with your fat butts in your chairs. Great video, I don't care if the building is going to last or not, I enjoyed a lot watching it being built. Thanks!
They aint even so bad. Wood has a far better strength to weight ratio and continupus beams. It doesnt need arches or near as many columns. Without the threat of crumbling, foundation is less of a concern. Not a heavy, brittle, bulky and segmented concrete "temple".
Now I understand why in Three Little Pigs, the 1st and 2nd pig didn't want to build a house of brick. Man, I am 20 years late in realising the moral of a simple kid story.
amanda rodriguez it’s the concept of creating with only the materials surrounding you and the most basic of tools. It’s the same concept found in a lot of sandbox games, but minecraft is arguably the most popular of these
Feel bad for them after all this effort. But foundations and support is non existant here. Guys, solid foundation under all your pilars is key, and for roof support u need to build arches.. The stone between pilars on top has no strength at all and will give easily. Further more, why fill with mud as it will erode away under the floor. Fill with stone and gravel as it will be a stable and solid support with excellent draining properties. For the arches use hand selected rocks with concave/wedge shape to distribute the weight and force to the column downwards. Similar to how ancient stone bridges were constructed. Arches is the way to go.
you are just asuming thats the only way to do it but there's a lot of ways if you wanna do it for survival , check this out gulfnews.com/entertainment/arts-culture/mud-an-old-idea-a-new-future-in-construction-1.1700613 And remember : To be against and to be wise are 2 diferent matters seek more truths before trying to humilliate someone's else work xD
Basically, the Romans stole basically all of their culture from Greece. Their gods? (Before Constantine, that is) Literally stolen from the Greeks. Apollo = Greek, Apollo = Roman. Hades = Pluto, but in some Greek versions of the Hades myth, Hades is the name of the Underworld and Pluto is Hades. Good stuff, Rome
It actually looks more Roman. Because the Romans focused on having an entrance in the front of the building. As well as having the stairs only on the front. Whereas the Greeks had entrances around the perimeter (including the stairs). That's the main difference.
@@batvaleska It's not "stolen" it's just their version of the gods. You can see the same thing across the world, similar gods as you move across cultures and lands tracing the origins of the myths.
I guess they have taken their creativity to the next level. They reminded me when I was a little girl playing house, we used to build houses like this one but smaller without a roof.
Yup, the same question I wanted to ask. These builds look nice, but some are deadly dangerous or just useless. Anyways, a VERY NICE job, amazed to see these guys working :-)

Amazing!! Beautiful!!! Well thought out and I’m sure, somewhat painfully executed! All those stones, rock and clay wood bamboo! You must have walked miles to complete this. There are not enough word to say just how, how, I just can’t fing the words to express what I think and feel ,,,,,well done just isn’t enough praise !
ancient skills in which land? Roman temples were not built like that. The stones were all chiseld with precision so that one was standing over the other without need of sand or cement in between. The columns the same but they also had a hole in the middle were iron bars were put for further stability. Sand with water or mud was used to cover any kind of gaps and purely for decorating purposes. Also, in ancient times in order to be able to tell if a wall was straight they used a string with a weight on the bottom.
Who here realizes that this could possibly fall when it rains because they are probably using dried clay with enough water may fall down and aren’t those pillars made from concrete
Шедевр архитектуры! Такие хлипкие перекрытия из листьев и палочек , выдерживают такой колоссальный вес камней и раствора?? А у нас то все арматуру железную потолще мостят!!!
@@Darkcoalworld To understand this, you do not need to have a degree in physics. Enough empirical experience, if you do something in this life with your own hands, and have basic school knowledge and logical thinking.
volum hoch the weight is directed through the columns directly to the foundation. It is very unlikely that this structure will fall in on itself without being tempered with.
@rusza j The whole thing is built on topsoil. As soon as the ground becomes saturated this is going to sink into the ground. It might take a few seasons but a structure built this way might last five to ten years.
