Kindof funny that Infinity Watch has been a "dying team" for over two years now. While they will clearly never be meta again, at this point I think they'll never truly be dead unless scopely decides to intentionally break them up.
Their strength is the safeguard on Spawn and also safeguard throughout the match. However, the latest teams, such as cabal and Superior 6, also spawn with safeguard. Point being, they should start to phase out as safeguard becomes more commonplace in the meta teams. Up until lately, safeguard hasn't been all that common in kits
@DuArkTikMSFHQ they will introduce a character that on spawn can prevent another character from gaining safeguard, and I've got a feeling it'll be Professor X
it's pronounced like film but with a "k" and "n" instead of "f" and "m" not Killin like chillin. a kiln is a type of furnace used for curing or glazing ceramics and clays usually for the purpose of hardening and setting them
IW is not dying only team spawns with not only safeguard but immunity. Plus some IW toons with there kits will be valuable on hybrid teams. IW is not a shelve team, and not dying unless Scopely chooses to kill them off.
It would be cool for one month instead of a whole new team, they fill out some of the unfinished teams, like a 5th x factor member, eternals, tangled web, etc
They already tell you *exactly* what to collect and which precise characters to use in most situations... unfinished teams are one of the few interesting things left about this "game" (RNG gambling simulator)!
Can we stop for a moment and reflect on the line @1:40, "They're a little bit older, but they're about to become farmable". If that doesn't sum up the state of the game regarding character releases, then I don't know what will.
Thank you for the tips I will be sure to use them I’m loving xtreme and hive mind and Pegasus is hit or miss for me but I’ll upgrade them a bit and maybe they’ll do better in 2.1
im wondering if its starting to be time to either make stronger defensive rooms to encourge even more hybrids or adding another room in future seasons.
Great video brother! Curious on your thoughts as to where Undying slots as a priority. With the zuggs battle pass and them being a feature team on the next Kyln, also still pretty strong in war. Just curious as to where you would slot them. Mine are pretty high but aindo get questions from others about them, thanks
Amazing war team for sure. Fallen off hard for Crucible but still C tier. Great for pop up events as well. They were the closest to being what I consider another cross over team for sure
Was waiting for shout outs to Quicksilver and the Undying. (The theme for these ones is that they all become different toons when you get them really high).
So undying wasn’t included because they are being effectively zoned out of crucible use. But they definitely aren’t a dying team as they will have forever use in war. Quicksilver on the other hand is a cautionary build. If you already built him up then he’s amazing. If you haven’t yet and you do now his life span may not be worth it. He is incredibly stat based and so time is power creeping him harder than most characters. Kind of like Silver Surfer. However QS will still have a strong disruption factor on the defence side forever with his turn meter rewind and buff strip on turn 1. Then of course his Ult that puts out lots of debuffs should he reach that. Making him a good character to be sure, but tricky to recommend building.
Thanks for the tips ! Speaking of apoc, i am currently level 83 and barely just started working on the horseman teams, would you advise to wait until we see the potential changes that they make to the apoc saga or go for it right now ? Cheers !
I worry that any Apoc changes could take upwards to 6 months if not longer. I myself on the baby account will be waiting to work on Apocalypse teams until the very last moment then equipping everything at once and getting the unlock.
At the very least, it's probably safe to build the Horsemen until any official announcement is made. There is a strong likelihood that any changes to the Apoc Saga will still require them, even if a greater pool of other characters can be used.
Okay thanks for the answers ! I'll probably do the same then, work on them but equip everything important as late as possible. T4s will be an issue tho
I hope they don't make new players not have to waste iso five on apoclypse because it will create an unfair advantage where they drop resources into meta teams and can easily edge out older players that had to invest about of top tier resources into obsolete garbage
