Such a gorgeous car. I was just looking at the 72 600S. Man. What I wouldn't give to own one of these. If this model is still around after I finish my other two I'm grabbing it.
Interesting to see if Agora have found any further shades of silver when the bonnet and boot lids are attached. Judging by the doors vs. body, they are gradually working through the silver colour chart.
Hi Wayne I was wondering about your overhead lights we were getting some great gold/orange reflections on the bumpers then as you were signing off saw the World Of Wayne sign in Orange looked cool them reflections did though see ya on the next one buddy.
I recently completed my Mercedes build but no matter what I tried, I couldn't get the doors to activate the light switch. The doors are aligned properly with the body. Did you have any trouble with this or haven't you tried it yet?
I’m having trouble on one side where the pin doesn’t contact the switch. Plus, be extremely careful of the wipers and the mirror, the screws don’t hold them too well. I’m not super satisfied with the whole build. Great looking car, very iconic, but some of the fit and finish are a bit lacking
@@chrisparenti2461 I agree, the Mercedes isn't up to the standards of the other cars I'm building - the Corvette and the DB5. I can't get either door to contact the pin switch for the lights. You're supposed to be able to press the brake peddle for the brake lights but I have no idea how you'd get a finger in there to reach the brake peddle. I didn't have a problem with the wipers or the mirror however. On one of the doors, none of the screw holes to attach the interior trim had been drilled, I had to *carefully* drill them myself! No doubt it's a beautiful car but the only feature that actually works is the headlights.
