Going tactician first. Saw another Dynasty video where dude put points in there along with his OC and his QB was getting like 6 overall points. I'll take that all day.

I don’t know how much the discount is but it sounds like a work around could be getting the CEO discount early. Then complete seasons with other coaches that have the abilities you want. You would get a discount and stretch your points.

I just found out CPU coaches have cherry-picked abilities, meaning they dont have to go in order of tiers like we do. Also, the coach xp speed applies to them as well. So far, normal seems fast but im testing with multiple sims rn.

Strategist doesn't seem as important as you're making it out to be at least to me. If I get a visit on a player I almost always land them even as SMU in year 1 and 2. I don't see the point in boosting visits when they already are such a high hit rate. I'd rather put them on a position I struggle with in tactician, or leave them on the pipeline boost in program builder that you originally did. I landed seven 5 stars in year two with SMU just by being smart on who to offer and every visit worked out. I'd rather have stronger influences on recruiting so you don't fall behind on a player as easily or you can catch back up faster

I dont think the strategist tree is very good. Mind reader is useless, and costs 32 points per position group to unlock. You dont learn the dev trait until a recruit visits. And in my experience the recruit usually commits after the visit even without the strategist tree. Knowing the dev trait at that point is pointless. If it showed the dev trait upon scouting it would be good. CEO on the other hand with dream school gives you a 50% chance for an insta commit if you are their number one school. Its absolutely massive.

I wonder if it would be efficient to bank a large amount of skill points. Then get the program builder trait that offers a discount then spend all the points you’ve saved up getting skills your OC and DC already have.

I want this game to actually be hard everyone going the easy route so I wil be going tactician and motivator and make my coordinators be my recruiting guys want it actually hard to recruit

I don't understand how it's hard to recruit? I get like 10-15 5* every year. Just scout every 5 star, focus on needs/pipeline/any 5* gems, stop recuiting 5* that, max out recruiting for them, then slowly transition to 4* gems as recruits commit to your school or you fall behind.

How do you fire coaches i've been searching for days and haven't found anything about it

Disagree with your assessment a bit. Talent Developer is a really good solution if you plan on heavy transfer portal. I wasn't really a fan of the transfer portal picks myself as its harder to account for which year they are coming in as. TD is sort of like the antithesis of recruitment. Without investing deep into it though mid-grade portal picks are definitely subpar. Do your freshmen, sophomore grade players develop faster if they don't play??? I didn't read the perk that way. I read it as they progress faster when they play. (I.E. more xp than typical). Which leads to my later points. If your going recruitment I'd hand's down go motivator for the off-season buffs. For most recruits you will get them as freshmen. (There are a few juco's sure.) You don't have to have them play to get the off-season buff at all and your guaranteed to have them 4ish years. Even an extra 2-3 overall per year for 4 years is 8-12 overall bump your giving your players even if they don't play. Given you get the redshirt year to offset the first year they don't play. Going for xp gain perks and rapidize leveling up of players is in my mind is a trap. A starter will get their xp gains anyway as you play. The only difference you make is getting them a little faster. I'd rather take free stats which i'm not guaranteed to have than faster progress on stats i am guaranteed to get as i play.

So if you skip a week, do you get those coach/xp points from that week? Or do you have to play the games to get those?

I can't wait to have the game. Everyone is saying recruiter, but if I'm a master motivator everyone has an elite dev trait. At least that's my thinking but I could be off

224- for full strategist tree without punter 100 for the first recruiting tree, without qb, hb, punter 160- for the bottom part with the same trees to max the numbers of players affected 484- total. Would be perfect without the 30 extra needed to purchase the damn skill trees. I wish they'd let us play around with the points at least and let us respec Man I wish they let us at least have more control within hiring and firing the coordinators. You get like a two week span to fire them and get 6 options on who to hire lol

I’ve noticed that players each have their own skill points or whatever at the top right on their player card and each category of stats seems to have a price based on how high/low it already is. Do you spend those somehow or is it all automatic upgrades in the offseason? My players upgraded in the offseason but not sure what the point is of those individual player skill points because I can’t seem to spend them.

Do the coordinators have their build increased over time too?

So disapointed in this... i always want to start out as a OFC or DFC and learn and wait till i'm decent at a small school before becoming a head coach... i wish they had seperate skills to unlock for OFC DFC and HC. the way they made it it's pointless to be anything other than a HC... which is a shame
