Great tip with the spring, can’t wait for my delivery! One idea, Instead of oil, I’ve been using alcohol gel on the screws (and everything else in the house 🤮), - no residue problem. Battery can be quickly removed by unscrewing front engine panel if anyone has OCD as bad as me 🤪

Same problem I have. I love the bttf delorean but the Ecto 1 was always my favorite. Then he started doing the white mustang and I am like I want that one as well then EM just had to release their Enterprise D which is the Enterprise I grew up with watching as a kid.

When attaching the front trim piece to the hood, 2 additional EP screws are used. They attach the trim piece to the hood latch.

This model is really nice to build and is of great quality. Am awaiting my issue 20 atm (payment just gone). Amazing how big this looks with the frame on the chassis! Thanks for all the vids! :)

The hinges have 'jeweler's screwdriver' written all over them ;) Also 'as tight as you can get them' says 'battery screwdriver without the effort' (yes I'm a lazy sod ;) )

I'm sorry...but I gotta admit I laughed. "Now, once I've got it in" **ping** **Technical Difficulties**. I've just been painting up the Honeywell Box from Partwork Upgrades this week. Lots of little details on it, it looks nice once it's detailed.

Did you add any kind of lights to it? I was eyeing the Partwork Upgrades box since I wasnt too crazy about the $315 usd price tag for the driverside work station with lights. Might just wait to see what Model Modz offer as I know Chole is working on a functional scope which I am sure would not be anywhere near $315 if the cost of her powermod is any indication.

@@Milner62 No, I didn't yet. Apparently Eaglemoss will be supplying a Honeywell Box, so I'm waiting to see what happens with that. I need to learn how to do Arduino first, but we have a newborn at home, so learning that is going to be back burnered for a couple months lol.

I'm wondering for the spring. Would it be easier to attach the mechanism to the hood, then attach the spring? It appears that while the mechanism is on the hood, you have more control??

Just attach the spring with the hinges as close together as you can get them. Shouldn't have issues then

American cars should always have hoods, fenders, and a trunk. British cars should always have bonnets, wings, and a boot. A big Caddy with a bonnet just doesn't sound right.

hey Wayne can you give a list if you havent already of all the mods/upgrades youv done to this. Also is there another supplier that does the terminator eye finger and wrist mods i havent seen them at model modz in a long time ive emailed them but gotten no answer.

I just cancelled mine, I'm tired of endorsing their product to a company that's just in it for your money. Threaten to cancel and they will offer you a discount as well as group your issues in larger quantities. They tried that with me but I was dead set on cancelling. They'll offer you a 20% discount on all your future shipments if you threaten to cancel. But they're not taking anymore of my money

Yeah, I've contacted them multiple times and they haven't given me a concrete reason as to why they aren't shipping. They offered a discount, then charged my account and took the charge away but have yet to inform me what the deal is
