Does anyone think the two switches in the steering column should be secured in place with a drop of glue on the non-button side? I do think this stage is a bit of a nightmare and I’m not really sure what movement of the lever is meant to actuate the buttons, back for horn, down for indicators - I think. I’ve ordered a replacement stage from Agora to start again after some further experimentation with the original.
Wow ! If you weren't doing these fantastic videos I might have put my Lambo in the bin. The online instructions seemed pretty poor with this episode. Like fitting the centre console to the dashboard and installing the glass lenses and light. Count't find those instructions at all. Were they in a different episode ? And assembling the two part dashboard, where were the instructions for that bit? Did I miss it somewhere else? Keep the great work Wayne !
I really struggled with the steering column and ended up breaking one of the soldered connections to the switches which I hope I can resolder with a tiny soldering iron bit and some very fine solder I use for electronics. I do think the heat shrink sleeving is too long which makes the wires more difficult to route. I also think I need to find the circuit board from the later stages to test the wires before they get covered up. I can see that gaining access once the kit is built is difficult, this is not a kit that allows repeated dis-assembly.
I agree. I just read from the instructions. Saying that. I took my driving lessons about 30 years ago with BSM and they kept referring to it as a gas pedal too. Probably where I get it from
@@WorldofWayneUK Since the throttle pedal controls the flow of gas to the engine, I suppose either is correct. :) One thought Wayne... perhaps a drop of glue on the clutch pedal would be in order. If people are reaching inside with their finger to press the pedals to generate sound/light, they might press on the clutch pedal in error and pop it out.. it would then be really difficult to reattach it. Just a thought...

I could print some JCB transfers for that yellow tractor you're building Wayne😁 Oopse sorry mate, it's a Lamborghini! Thought it was some site machinery being that colour. Lol. Nah seriously it's starting to look quite nice. I still prefer the E Type though, no car build will ever look as pretty as an E Type.
I want to buy this so bad, but after getting completely screwed on the ecto1 ghostbusters build I can never trust another subscription based model ever again to not go bankrupt in the middle of a build.
