Loving the Robocop mate, looks amazing so far! Im actually building the Traywick Designes Robocop Auto 9 gun! Were lucky here, while airguns are licensed and gel blaster replicas only legal in one state, we can have cosplay replicas! Glad to see your feelimg better, too. Cheers. J.
In the movie the prop costume was colored with blue, purple etc to give it a more exotic metallic finish. This models finish looks to bright and plain silver. Do you ever have plans to go over the finish of these pre-painted assembly subscriptions? Love the channel.
@@WorldofWayneUK No, it was definitely other colours in the original too. If you watch the Robo documentary, one guy says they were fixing the suit and respraying it constantly because it kept splitting.
@@bedfordshiremodeller4491Watch the RoboDoc film. The people responsible for maintaining the suit during filming explain that it wasn't pure silver in the first film. Nowhere near!
In fact, here's a quote from Gregor Punchatz that I found, he painted the suit on the first film. 'The colour change came from us layering different colours. Silver base with layers of blues, green, purple, yellow and a touch of pink.'
noticed you missed a bit from a previous issue...a tiny plastic piece that goes on the inside of the leg just above the wee tiny round section we put in...I forgot all about it until I found it in my cupboard and was like I wonder where that goes 🤔🤣 I don't read the mags just follow along with you.
@WorldofWayneUK I'm assuming it tells you somewhere in the magazines where to put it, I just stuck it on...looks the same as the one that goes slightly lower down.
I got the feeling the right leg is gonna be a bit trickier. You're gonna have the holster, and the leg will need to open up. Out of curiosity, do you have any plans to maybe purchase the full Murphy face from someone and use that? I won't lie, I'm thinking of it when I get this model. My only problem is painting flesh tones is not as easy as just spraying a single color.
I was looking into getting this, exactly how are payments made? Are they shipped and charged weekly or do they all ship at the end of the month then you're charged for all of them at once?
