Hey guys!
How good is Broome! We park the caravan at the RAC Cable beach holiday park, explore Gantheaume and Cable beach. Find a few rockpools around the place and day trip up to Willie Creek for a fish and explore. Its pizza night for us and we whip up some home made pizzas. How good is Mango season we get a heap from the markets in Broome ready to make up some smoothies

Best time to visit and live here is during the wet, less blow ins (tourists) and beautiful storms, cheaper accommodation for those visiting as well 👌

I loved this video so much, everywhere you went I’ve also done so many times. It’s so strange ( but also lovely) to see Broome without all the crowds. There is a guy on Cable Beach every time I am there who is fishing in the nude!! Turtles - I saw a recent ABC article about a group of kids from one of the Broome schools who are putting flags into the beach wherever there are turtle nests so that the 4wd’s don’t accidentally drive over them, how cool is that 😊. Loving seeing the Kimberley at this time of the year, thanks ❤❤

I stayed at the same holiday park back in September when visiting Broome from Canada. Loved that pool! Have you been up to the croc sanctuary yet...it's wonderful and you can cuddle a baby croc, too. Lots of great video opps.

Lived & worked in Broome at Cable Beach for 3yrs before heading back to Perth. Wet season is tough if your a tradie & the ocean temp becomes like a warm bath. Also stingers & Blue Bottles are prevalent during this time so locals stick to swimming pools. The tourists drive you mad during dry season as the town gets totally swamped with them to the point where it can't cope. It is a great place otherwise. Seen the place completely flooded during wet season heavy rain with roads under water. The pic of all the N/W coastal towns is Exmouth

Keep up the good work, our current favourite go to with Pizza is to make them with Tortilla shells, Be careful heading North off season do not stay at Fitzroy River Lodge,we had a very frightening encounter November 2020, see our comments if they are still on WikiCamps, 10 kids trying to smash our neighbours security door with a hammer at 2am, Luckily the Police came quickly, we left immediately and drove through the night to Broome arriving at cable beach at 9am, Luckily our only bad experience in 10 years of travelling around in retirement, also give Halls Creek a miss, much safer free camping 100klm out of those towns, stay safe, regards Tony

@@CaravanAdventureAus yes very scarey, I heard that delivery trucks need a police escort as they hide under the bridge and throw rocks at trucks, cars and caravans, just google trouble in Fitzroy or Halls creek, Reading my post I am staggered by some positive posts, they don’t have any after hours contact number to answer, we called the cops 3 times, they came fairly quickly, but 10 minutes seemed like an hour stuck in your van it’s 10 kids outside and the security lights turned out, on a positive ending we have had 40 trips in 10 years, everywhere including Tassie,8 trips on the Nullarbor from Perth without one problem until then, thankfully we have been away with any hassles since then, stay safe, regards Tony

Do not "just rock up" in Broome. While it may be fine in Wet season, dry season is very different, if you try and find a spot to camp between April and October you will find everything booked out.
