Very good video as always. A good combination of explaining how and why to make the changes. What I like to do is 'Hide Set Filters' at the bottom of the Filter Column to get all of the desired sets in one view and then set Priorities to sort everything accordingly. I definitely make use of the Substat filters, especially if I am looking at required Substats. I also like starting with the boots first, because that is probably what I have the least of: good boots with the stats I want.
@@ColredPlaysRSL Actually that is there now. It was a recent addition to the game within the last several months. I also use the HH site to re-gear champions except when I am using specific sets, like Guardian, the tool does not work well with trying to get certain complete sets on champions
Great video and very helpfull for new players that need help on champion builds. Maybe 1 more suggestion, especially for new player : 1st thing to tweak when rebuilding a champ is to pick the accessories first, because it has fewer types (only 3 if compared to 6 for artifacts). It will be easier and helps you to decide whether you could go for that powerful 4 pc stoneskin + something else, or just decide how many acc/ress/speed you need for some specific build.
The reason you build the other way around is that accessories are supplementary stats, not main stats. The reason to build from bottom row artefacts is because they are hardest to find good pieces with. So, start with the hardest pieces and fill in what you need with everything else, or you can simply miss the best possible build altogether.
@DomRSL I generally leave accessories for last, because you don't really worry about sets as much. So if you can get the right artifacts, that's more important. You can always flesh out the accessories later as you farm. That being said - if your method works for you, then keep at it. 🫡
Perfect timing with regards the free gear exchange going on. Will be watching this while I get a whole bunch of champs sorted. Missed the last refit so been ages since I've been able to sit and really alter some builds. Also got tons of gear to sell so at least I'll be able to get the gear leveled up same time. Maybe I'll build a Deacon for Rector Drath to carry! Haha! Keep up the great content man!
@Yobinski4900 Geo is great as a CB damage dealer. The only downside is that you generally run him slow in CB, and that makes him less useful in other places. If you're running a Demytha team, there's a speed tune that uses a fast dps (3:1). Check out that tune for Geo. Won't make him a lot better in CB, but WILL make him better everywhere else.
I know you love tanky champs but nearly 6k def on an attack based champ, is bonkers and pretty much useless altogether after 4k lol. I'm not sure if you are considering using Cardial in arena, but if you are, then you need to strip about 1.5k off defence and dump it all into hp equipment, as any well built nuker will tear him apart with hp that low and def so high which will be ignored anyway. After 3.5k def a high arc of diminishing returns takes effect. At 4k def your increase is so small that it's negligible. Only caveat is def based nukers ofc. The Archer does do damage from def. However, if you want to utilise her damage also, then you absolutely need to build 100% crit rate too. If however, you are using her purely as a motorised control champ in relentless forget the extra def, which won't do much damage without the crit rate and pump the extra def stats into any of the other stats she requires especially spd/acc and hp to soak up the provoke damage as you are trying to cycle back to her skills fast with relentless obviously so don't try to hybridise her, just concentrate on those others more as 3.5k - 4k is more than enough def. It won't make a great deal of difference in hydra either without the crit rate imo.
@Dharin. Yeah, that's why I mentioned it several times in the video. However, I don't have the option of a good HP% chest or gauntlet for him atm. So I will look to farm one in the near future. As for Archer, she just dominated the HH F2P Challenge for me with like 30% crit rate. I'm not tring to make her a damage dealer. She just does solid damage anyway. I promise you that the build she is in right now will crush all the content I'll use her in. If you have her, you can try it and see for yourself.
@@ColredPlaysRSL I do have her as it happens. I got her during the summon rush for the Rathalos fusion where she was also a 10x. Really lucky to get her as she is a beast for wave control alongside Armanz. Nothing gets a go, and if they don't ever hit you, you always win lol. I'm thinking of rebuilding her specifically for hydra once I decide to concentrate of doing that content as she is built for wave control right now. but with Armanz, having her is simply overkill. I do use her for hydra with the kit she has, but it's not ideal for it and I know I'll be able to do 3/4/5x more team damage if I switch her gear. I'll give it a go, but I'm not sure I've got the gear to do high damage and also have high spd/acc/res too, while making sure she's not a glass cannon for anything that ignores def. As for the hp% chest, sometimes you do have to brake up a set and use a really good off-piece, if you have it, to get the stats. I don't like doing that myself, but needs must sometimes until you farm that chest piece in the right set with the right substats with the right rolls, and we all know how difficult that trio of RNG is. Better to have the champ at maximum efficiency in a broken set, than have a subpar champ in a complete one, as you are losing overall game playing efficiency for the team in all the areas you are using him just for an ideal setup and not the right setup imo. With the new-born, every minute saved in game, is a moment more with your baby boy, and you don't get that time back so don't lose it because you may look back and regret it someday
Am I going crazy or isn't seeker part of your CB team? Also, just curious, why do you not use the optimizer? It is valuable to be able to build without it but having it at your disposal wouldn't it make sense to use it?
2 reasons, one of which the other commentor made. The main reason here, was that he's showing us in the video HOW to do it yourself. The optimiser will choose stats over sets. Colred likes to keep sets together. That's good practice when viewing it account wide, but it won't give the best singular build for any given champ, so it's six of one, and half a dozen of the other. Choose whichever, is best for your account and style of play, but learn to do it yourself first and foremost. Simply learn how to open a can of beans manually, then buy an electric one as the skill may come in handy in a dystopian, post nuclear war scenario, or if the optimizer goes down lol.
@BubbaBasher02 I have two Seekers. The one in relentless is not part of my CB team (because it won't speed tune with relentless). The optimizer is a great tool, but it's really useful to be familiar with all of your gear in order to make the most informed choices for your roster. I'm not trying to find one specific build to fit a single solution - I'm trying to gear for as many areas in the game as possible. Also, this is a how-to video. If you learn to rebuild champions manually, you'll not only be able to do it on your own, you'll get more value out of the optimizer too.
