Build Your Own 1:6 Scale Stackable Dollhouse ! 

I’m glad I found this video. I have studied and researched for a loooooong time. Years 😅 Before starting. I might actually start today. I bought all the foam boards after watching @bentleyhouseminis make their Beetlejuice house which is amazing. I think I was biting off more than I could chew because I can’t force myself to start. I love her ideas about the magnetic removable walls. And I really wanted to do something themed around Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, or the Addams family. Something dark. For my monster high customs. Hers is a 1/12 scale though and I also thinking I needed a starter house that I can commit to finishing. I love that you teach mistakes too- like improving the durability. I used to teach art and I appreciate that. I’m not even halfway through this video and I’m already very grateful. Thank you!

I fell in love with a doll given to me by my daughter and ended up using two three level small white cub shelves and am in the process of turning that into my doll cube rooms.....its working out great for a doll mini mansion with many rooms !!!

I believe Poppy seed Mini has a tutorial and the pattern for that chair. Great video. Definitely wasn’t aware that there were more than 2 brands for the scrapbook paper and where the thickest could be purchased. And I swear by spray adhesive for applications. Or wood glue applied with a brush. In this hobby that is very important information. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Great tutorial, A combination of foam board & cardboard glued and weights put on to keep it from warping. Becomes soooo strong. As Good as wood only light weight. Idea came from Bentley house Mini’s on you tube.

You also, can put the card board under, the strofoam! I myself would, not use the strofoam, it warps cracks! and chips! Wood, or card board, is the best!

I really like your 1:6 scale stackable BARBIE HOUSE. The foam board is fine, but, when I build my Barbie houses for really super sturdy I use MDF and cardboard boxes. My Barbie houses last for about 10 to 15 years.

Hi All! I had the measurements typed in wrong in the description box 🙈 The floor is 16 1/2" wide X 13" The ceiling is 17 1/4" X 13"

Hi - Thank you, I loved the tutorial video for the room boxes. You explained it really well. Can I please just clarify the measurements you have put in the description? I think the floor and ceiling measurements may be mixed up. You mentioned the ceiling measurement is larger than the floor as the walls butt up against the floor on each side so the ceiling needs to be larger to accommodate this. Is this correct?? 🤔

In a 1:6 scale, your wall measurements are only 6 scale feet tall. Your room sizes don’t seem very practical. However, the general construction information is valuable.
