I’m wondering about building a piezo midi drum controller using the Pico instead of arduino uno. I’ll have to look into what kinds of libraries have already been created for it but I imagine the Pico could perform quite well for this.
I was unable to get mine to work, the footage of the filework, I slowed it down, and did everything, but the keypad doesn't light up or anything, I did all the links and such, but i cannot find another video on using this as a Launchpad, (however I did not look too hard,) If it helps to know, its recognized by FL studio, but it does not work with the light up buttons and such or working with sound effects. also, great video, + one sub
Thanks. I hit a few issues, but what I did to get things to work is described from 03:40 on. I would think my issues might have been resolved by later versions of circuitpython now though. I didn't do a lot else other than plug it in within Ableton. May be worth flashing the device again and starting over to ensure nothing is missing.
Is it possible that I could use this as a standalone sound board connected with batteries and to a speaker? I want to be able to press it and make sound effects when I am in front of my classroom and leave it on my desk
@@IanWootten I ordered the pico and board yesterday so I will have some more research to do before I start, hopefully it works out, need to find an mp3 interface for it as well
