Build Your Own Lighthouse | Rust Chaser Circuit
In this Rust tutorial 101, I will show you how to create a chaser circuit in Rust. These circuits are used for Christmas lights, lighthouses, light towers or pretty much anything you want a continuing light source for. I normally make Rust beginner guides but this one is a slightly more advanced circuit so stick with me and this tutorial should help you get better at Rust circuits.
Some people call these daisy chains and they all do the same thing.
Currently in Rust, the spot light doesn't spin 360 so we have to do something different. We have to wire up multiple spot lights in sequence to give the effect of a spinning lighthouse light.
To do this, we need to wire up some timer switches, some blockers, some branches and link all of the circuits together to make them turn on and off in sequence. I would recommend setting the lights to 0.5 seconds.
This daisy chain light source will run fully automatically as long as it has power.
