Build Your Own Power BI Audit Log; Usage Metrics Across the Entire Tenant 

For those of you who have Sentinel there is a connector for the PBI Audit Data which can be used to ingest the audit logs. The data is then easily exported for analysis purposes. The advantage is automated ingestion and the data retention that Sentinel offers plus easy export to a csv file. I am not sure that Sentinel extracts all of the Audit Data (for example the SectionName of the report doesn't seem to be present ) But thanks for pointing out the usefulness of the PBI audit data for usage reporting

I am getting below error Search-UnifiedAuditLog : The term 'Search-UnifiedAuditLog' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

Hi team, i have one requirement. I have report in premium workspace and granted direct access to 1000 users to this report . Now business asking they want to see that 1000 users email id in one report and later if i will add 2 more user to direct access then count should automatically show 1002 . Now i am maintain one excel sheet manually to show the count. Can is it possible to automate.

hi, can this be done for power bi embedded?. We have a power bi report that is embedded on our web site and the users log in to our web site and view the report without having power bi accounts.

If anyone is wondering why Power BI - Admin Portal just shows "Capacity settings" only > this is view for non-admins (just to make it confusing :) )

@RADACAD Can you tell what are the least minimal permissions needed of the AAD User to access the O365 Audit Logs, Filtered only for the "Power BI" entries? Only beeing in the "Power BI Service Administrator" Group (having access to PBI Management Portal) is not enough. Do i really need to be an O365 Global Admin (which i never will get permissions for in my company)? Thanks for insights, Jochen

Is there anyway that something similar can be done but on Power BI Reporting Server? Our company uses on prem server and we would like to know our reports usage statistics.
